Didn't Tim Watts say on Monday Ricks is "overrated and not worthy of his ranking"?

Alabama led for Ricks when he was a Class of 2024 recruit. The LSU "leads" rumors didn't start until after he reclassified.

You can make the argument that the reason he reclassified was in large part to LSU recruiting him. So to say Bama was leading at any point was bullshite. Majority of insiders have been on record saying they wouldn’t know where he was heading for sure until NSD.

Right.

Tim Watts is the least emotional recruiting mod out there. Anyone spewing this nonsense is talking straight out of their arse.

Saint is correct in that before Ricks moved to re-classify, Bama was leading on the prediction machine, for what that is worth. I guess techically some of you could be right, in that Ricks never said we were leading but the experts believed we were.

Regardless, y’all are getting a stud. Congrats on the pick up. Bama’s class this year is ridiculous but most of them have been the past 10 years

I can't wait to see the melt when he actually commits to LSU.

And that ink disappears after a year so why anyone gets worked up about where these recruits start out doesn’t make as much sense. Maybe the best move these days might be to let some other collective pay for the first year and swoop in the next through some fellow players. Might save you some money.

I'm just speculating here, but that may be a perfectly valid strategy for some positions - like cornerback - but I can't imagine it would be good to try and build a line off of multiple transfers every season.

I'm curious about Alabama's depth chart at corner. As it stands now, LSU will be starting brand new freshmen at both corners in this spring game if Denver Harris isn't qualified.
