15th overall player in the class of 23 Commits in December.

Another top CB Javien Toviano was fonged to LSU earlier as well.

LSU may be on their way to landing 2 of the top defensive backs in the country.

LSU, Bama, Florida are his top 3.

Tigers are looking scary. I said sometime back, Kelly is building this squad with strong character high end players, the O/D-Line and TE’s, eerily similar to Kirby at Georgia. The DB’s WR’s and what not will come, but man, to have a good shot at Ricks, this is brewing into something special.

They are very, very similar. Kelly wanted monken to run his offense too.

See they got Hankton, very interesting about Monken. Georgia and LSU matchup few years from now would be a VERY interesting one, think they’ll mirror one another, eerily. Kirby and Kelly, some of the last true tacticians.

I've seen people write they are not related, but for some reason 247 keeps saying they are brothers.

ESPN wrote an article and corrected the notion that Desmond Ricks was related to Eli. I don’t know where people got it from, but it is 100 percent not true.

Thanks! Same last name, same position, and LSU interest all got me thinking they had some type relations.

Does he realize Ricks is not from Florida?

I mean…LSU on the rise and proven to be winners with still needing to fill positions, versus Florida…? He’s a HEAVY LSU lean, just entertaining fans on Twitter. I do think Florida gets it right under Billy but it’s like the choice of a four star steakhouse or Longhorn…

One could argue playing time could favor Florida just as much as LSU. He’d be replacing Cormani’s spot.

Probably equal on both parts. We are losing(I Think);

Mehki Garner - Starting Corner
Jay Ward - Starting Nickel
Jarrick Bernard Converse - Starting Corner
Colby Richardson - 2nd String Boundary Corner
Sevyn Banks(Barring Injury Redshirt) - 2nd String Boundary Corner

the 2 highest class CBs we have are redshirt sophomores

Jason Marshall Jr. CB So. (high 5* recruit '21)
Jalen Kimber CB R-So. (high 4* recruit '20)
Jordan Young CB R-Fr. (low 4* recruit '21)
Jaydon Hill CB R-So. (low 4* recruit '19)
Avery Helm CB So. (low 4* recruit '20)
Ethan Pouncey CB So. (mid 4* recruit '20)
Devin Moore CB Fr. (mid 4* recruit '22)

the only "napier" CB we have is devin moore from the '22 class, and you could argue that all of mullen's CBs are trash.

Not going to look up the exact percent, but when you get a recruit "Fonged" to go to your school, it is basically a 95%ish likelihood they are going to sign.
