That's about as clear an indication that whatever follows will be bullshite as there ever was.

It ranks right up there with, "I tried to tell y'all..."

It’s going to happen, every team does this for some reason.

If I had to guess based on how we have played this year and how Alabama has been historically...this should be an absolute clusterf**k on special teams for both sides

If Bama didn’t have BY, I think we win. But Young is a total stud…

It will be interesting to see if House can get our D to play solid in the first 2 Qtrs of the game

A quick tie-in here — Matt House served as DC for Kentucky under Mark Stoops. I think he's considered as part of the Steve Spagnuolo defensive tree.

Eric Wolford, OL coach at Alabama, also served at Kentucky under Mark Stoops. Wolford was actually recruited out of high school by Bob Stoops, and played for and coached with Bill Snyder at Kansas State.

Being the former head coach for both, Mark Stoops worked with Mike Stoops at Arizona, who falls under the Hayden Fry/Bill Snyder umbrella as well. Mike Stoops was hired in an off-the-field role by Saban at Alabama.

All this to say, should be interesting to watch the OL/DL chess match in this one, as both coaches have some familiar branches weaving through all those same systems.

Basically, a lot of connections to Stoops.

You had to say Xs and Os didn't you? Pete and Bill are clowns in this regard.

Should be a great game. Both teams will have to get the other's QB off his mark and both offenses will need to establish some rhythm.

Going to be some big hits, let's hope they let em play. Buckle those chin straps.

What kind of bizzaro world thread is this? Why is everyone being so nice to each other?

Nick Saban is afraid of sorority girls and Bryce Young orders extra slaw, no toast!

I'd rather not, thank you.

If players start sitting out drives its gonna show the difference in rosters real quick.

We need to keep Bryce Young from playing flag football out there. I like Perkins harassing him.

Can you imagine this team with Smart or Pruitt as DC and Sark or Kiffin as OC.

I’m still trying to figure out what happened in our game vs Tenn. Some bizarre things (that can be fixed) but then some all around bad things. JDs passing stats were better than TN, our run game was shite. And the 4th downs…. Hopefully that was a crucible game for many of the Tigers. It feels like it but we’ll see.

Which one is bullshite?
Some in the media were saying this may be his best roster?
Heisman candidates on offense and defense?
2021 was a rebuild year for Bama?
LSU finished 2021 with 30-something scholarship players?
The only reason Bama lost to UT was the refs?

Please tell me which statement is bullshite.

I think it's simple - Bama's ace in the hole is their QB. If Perkins and Ojulari can keep Bryce from singlehandedly beating us, I think it's a toss-up (mainly because it's on our turf).

Gibbs is faster and slipperier than most, but he's not better than Judkins. Shut down Bryce, make him mortal, and Gibbs won't beat us.

Their defense is good (as usual), but highly mobile QB's have always been Bama's Achilles heel. If our stud frosh tackles can keep the pocket somewhat clean I think Daniels will end up being the QB everyone is talking about after the game, not Bryce.

If there was ever a year where we have better than average odds of winning, it's this year.

And, honestly, it's better (and easier) to be the hunter than it is to be the hunted.

But now that I'm looking at your questions, I'm going to say that I've been validated because every single one is bullshite.

In the future, just try to avoid opening with, "I've been told" or it's variants. Thanks.

I can and do every time I watch a game this year. It's one of my favorite fantasies.

I know the one thing LSU cannot do is let Alabama get ahead but it just seems inevitable that we will spot our opponent a 10-17 point lead in the first half no matter what.
I am at the point of "Acceptance" with it now. Hopefully we do not dig ourselves too deep of a hole (like with Tennessee) and we can make the necessary adjustments after the half to make it a game.

My 2 keys are getting bryce on thr ground when you get a chance and the sleeper reciever in jenkins. Everyone forgets about the senior in our WR room. All he does is get open and catch the ball

I think it's a contest of which Oline holds up the best. alabama's defense shuts the opposition down when they control the line of scrimmage. while we have some young guys this is the 9th game of the year so i expect our line to play well. I expect to see lots of Josh Williams since he's the best pass blocker of our backs.

so if our oline holds most of the time, which i expect they will, we'll move the ball.

and vice versa. both defenses will have their moments, and it will probably come down to which defense has more stops and/or turnovers.

of course i am expecting our QB to pick up where he left off after the last 2 weeks. it's a given that Bryce Young will be on his game if he has time.
