I love our WR's and top to bottom they might be overall better. But, there isn't a whole lot of difference between Boutte and Thomas compared to Prentice and Brooks and Holden at Bama. It is a different story if Boutte were healthy/revert to his 2020 form.

Also, its tough to compare offenses as Gibbs leads Bama in receptions.

Sorry i wrote that on barely any sleep and didnt make that clear, what i meant to say was we have been lucky the last two weeks Florida and ole miss had WR wide open and they dropped passes. Tenn didnt drop those passes and made us pay, Alabama won't drop the passes either which worries me because we have had blown coverages all year and some teams haven't been able to take advantage

Yeah, though even if we’re able to I unfortunately don’t think Bryce will be effected mentally by BJ/Perkins the same way Jaxon Dart was.

We made him look pedestrian last season with far less

It can happen

Your offense absolutely is not more talented than Ohio state stop it. OSU has a deeper rb room and exponentially better receivers. There’s no one in your bama wr room rn that would see the field at Ohio state stop overhyping your weapons. Gibbs and young are studs obviously but this is the weakest wr corps you have had in years

Malik nabers is more talented than bama 3 starting wideouts rn and Masson Taylor is def more talented than their tight ends. Bama’s wr corps is not very strong this year compared to other years

Top to bottom, absolutely, and I would take the trio of Boutte-Thomas-Nabors over anything Alabama has.

I really can't decide if our WRs are just poor route-runners, or if the situational playcalling is so bad, they're not getting opportunities.

On the Alabama Board we were breaking down a 3rd & 10 call against State where it appeared they were running a deep cover-3/robber, and we sent every single WR on a shallow route tree (short of the first down).

Makes no sense in that instance with eight defenders back. Frustrating that BOB doesn't take the top off and just attempt to free it up underneath the safeties, especially when you've got LBs covering the short middle of the field.

Sometimes I feel like he calls plays off his sheet and doesn't react to what the defense has actually shown in prior, similar situations. Sark was a genius in this regard.

Our true freshman tackles concern me — and that’s no slight to them at all, they’ve been clutch at a very hard position.

But Alabama has a different type of athlete, and if our tackles get pushed around, Daniels is going to have to think and act fast. I think Denbrock needs to assume that Daniels is not going to have a clean pocket and plan accordingly. Boutte is going to have to do what we know he can.

I think this will be one of the more interesting matchups in the series recently. It’s nice to see the West come down to this game again.

While I would love to see LSU pull the upset I have close to zero confidence right now that we are ready for that big of a step forward. I’m big on Kelly but it wouldn’t really be a knock on him if we lose this game by a fairly large margin. We have to remember where this team started from and the progress it has made.

The fact that LSU has a solid chance of getting 10 wins this season is honestly pretty remarkable, given pre-season expectations.

BK has done a nice job.
