Harsin isn’t really known for developing QBs going back to Boise and his staff is a train wreck right now, and we all know how raw Finley is. He has talent, but he needs a lot of work on the fundamentals.
I would say the same about Kelly at ND, but Denbrock and Sloan change that equation.

He has shown flashes of being a good QB. For some reason people think players can’t get better. Very strange

He did start some games his freshman year here, he wasn't ready but I think he definitely is talented and could be a great college qb. I honestly wish him the best in all the games he's not playing LSU.

Finley has elite arm talent and he's a big kid. If he gets his mechanics and consistency down he can be a very good QB.
