Obviously Bama is #1, but spots 2-6 have been hotly debated over the last several years.

Rank SEC's football programs 1-6. I'd say this is the relevant criteria in order of importance:

- national championships
- all time wins
- conference champions
- average AP finish
- all time win percentage
- Bowl Game wins

Bama

A&M accounting for the 10 nattys in a row they are apparently about to win

LSU because they are lil bro to A&M even though they have more recent success

Auburn because I like anarchy and they are the physical embodiment of it

Vanderbilt because of their academics

Tennessee because honestly the white hat and orange T looks good. There, I said it.

I do not think so. I think they still are the most underachieving program in the SEC.

You said "All Time", so Tennessee has to be up higher if that's the case?

Yeah, how come Kirby ain't try to win 2 national titles at once in January? fricking bum.

I think he's on the hot seat until he adds yet another title.

it’s all time but recent years count more due to it being a more competitive era.

bama obviously #1

You can make a case that UT is still #2 but barely and buddy I mean BARELY. As in...could drop within any given year. I think LSu and UGA are neck and neck with each other and those 2 plus UT make up 2-4 in some order. Draw names out of a hat if you want.

AU and UF are 5 and 6 in some order.

Anyone claiming UF or especially AU are ahead of UGA is simply trolling. There is literally no rational, logical discussion taht could take place which would validate AU as being a better all time program than us. None.

Are you trying to tell me that Tennessee's vaunted run of the 1930's means nothing? How dare you, sir.

Those were REAL men playing back then, the General would run roughshod over those pussies Georgia put in uniform last year.

Under Duddley's rules, Tennessee is 2nd, LSU is 3rd and Georgia is 4th.

You're right about Florida and Auburn.

I'd agree with

1. Alabama
2. Tennessee (for now)
3. LSU
4. Georgia
5. Florida
6. Auburn

No one can seriously place Florida above us. They had a fantastic run from the early 90's to Tebow, but 18 years of good does not make up for 100+ years of "meh".

They didn't have a real SEC title until the fall of the USSR, and their most "recent" run is almost old enough to drive a car. Kids going into college today are more likely to remember the losing seasons, the firings, and the Georgia Southern game than they are Tebow, CUM, and Spurrier.

Auburn doesn't deserve a written out argument. They know and we know where we sit in comparison of one another. They play a great heel though.

If it’s all time then Tennessee still has a solid claim to being the second best in the South. Neyland was probably the third greatest coach in History behind Saban and the Bear. If it’s modern times only then we are behind several schools at this point
