LSU owns these over Georgia: - Head-to-head (18-13-1) - More national championships - More conference championships - More draft picks - More all-americans - More weeks in the AP Poll - More weeks at #1 in the AP Poll

This. Only a UGA fan would think that’s neck and neck

Oh please, every B6 member has done the same shady shite.

So now your argument is "Everybody does it, so it's okay for us to do it!"?

Next time you get pulled over for speeding tell the police officer, "Everybody else does it, so it's ok if I do it too!" and see what that gets you.

Florida automatically ranks higher than Georgia since they hung half a hundred at Hedges in the worst Georgia home loss in their programs history

So in 1942, when Georgia hung 75 on Florida....does that put us above Florida automatically? You need to go make your arugments to slower people, because there's a decent chance you aren't going to get the better of me.

Florida has a great overall athletic program. Possibly the best in the SEC. But historically? Y'all had a great 20 year run.

LSU has one title more than Georgia. Seems close.
LSU has two SEC Championships more. Pretty close again.
From 1928-1945 LSU won 7 straight games. Take those out and what do you have? Pretty darn close since 1945, right?

But then, you picked out stats that favor LSU. Let's look at some others.

Georgia has a high win %. .659 to .653 Close, huh?
Georgia has more all time wins. 853 to 823. Not really close.
Georgia played in more Bowl games. 59 to 53. Again not real close.
Georgia has a better win percentage in bowls.
.619 to .538 again not close

I think LSU does have the edge, don't get me wrong. But to think you are somehow unquestionably superior is a mistake.

This is what surprises me about LSU fans. The same metrics they us to show LSU is superior to Georgia shows Georgia superior to Florida, yet they ranke Florida over Georgia.

National Championships-Tied with 3.
Georgia is superior:

Head to head (53-44 so not even close)
Win %
SEC Championships
Bowl games
All time wins
Bowl win %

Except for that run with Spurrier and Meyer, Florida has been a pretty average team.

sandwiched in between Georgia's two.

Georgia has three. 1942, 1980 and 2021.

So Florida gets the "recent" nod between the two.
What on earth is your definition of recent? 20-30 years ago?

According to the site LINK that a UGA fan listed, consensus national champions since 1950 (don't know why they started with that date).

For the record I have no problem with Alabama claiming championships. No matter what method anybody uses they are still way above everybody else.

Not sure why that site (I couldn't get the site to come up. (The official site is [link=(www.ncaa.org)]NCAA.org[/link] That one goes all time I think and shows Georgia's 1942 and some others.)
