He's put up better numbers than Mond did as a FR/SO and is light years better than Calzada. So he is better than our last 2 starters. Would be a hell of a back up if he doesn't win the starting job.

I’ll take him. He’s a step up from Calzada. Besides, anyone that can take the punishment he did against us and throw the winning touchdown pass knowing that they’re about to get blasted has my respect.

The whole reason he's transferring to TAMU is so he doesn't have to get hit by our d line again.
