Clemson doesn't belong in tier 1. Georgia, Oregon and Boise state don't belong in tier 2. This can't be considering the programs overall prestige and success. This list sucks.

Boise State in Tier 2 immediately causes any fan of the sport to hit "delete". No serious person would put Boise State ahead of Florida, Auburn, A&M, or Wisconsin.

Enjoy it while you can, mutt. Norvell is doing work on the recruiting field. Is lining up Top,10 classes the next 3 years. Will yield results and a return of the Seminoles!

Only team in tier 1 should be Bama
Tier 2 should be:
LSU
OSU
Clemson
Oklahoma
And then the rest in the rest of the tiers.

I'll take away my confused emoticon above and agree that Clemson doesn't belong in Tier 1 if this is how we're arguing it should be laid out.
But if Ohio State is going to join Alabama, then Clemson definitely should too.

Unless this is referencing this year or last only, there is a LOT of recency bias. Coastal and Ga Southern two tiers above Arkansas?

FSU has always recruited in the Top 10-15. Recruiting isn't the problem.
Norvell won't do anything there.

We’ve lost to several tier 4 teams lately.
Not sure how we are in tier 3 other than kick 6, and the “it’s unfair” punt formation.
The “it’s unfair” punt formation resulted in the Saban being Eiffel towered signature pic that still pops up on this website so I guess that is a good thing.

Tier 1: Alabama
Tier 2: Clemson and OSU
Tier 3: LSU, OU, UGA
Boise has no business being where they are, and really neither does Oregon.

I'd say LSU belongs in Tier 2 as well. More NCs than Clemson and OSU since 2000, and has maintained a consistently good program that is held back by being in the same division as the Tier 1 school.
Also, beat both the Tier 2 schools for a NC as well.
And do you honestly think Clemson would be as successful a program if they were in the SEC instead of the ACC? Or would they be more akin to UGA?
But that also depends on the timeframe we are going by. Clemson is the very definition of New Money.
