This is funny! UCF is in same tier as Auburn! Also BSU is higher up than Auburn in the tier! Harsin goes to Auburn and BSU hired someone else that got BSU to be in a better tier than Auburn! This is so funny!

Tennessee and Louisville on lower tier than Kentucky?

List looks legit AF.

This list is not great. But as a someone who grew up in the 90s, it's simply unbelievable to see Florida State, Nebraska and Tennessee all in Tier 5.

Put Alabama in their own tier, set LSU aside, the 7 teams in tier 1 and 2 combined have one more national title this century than LSU (2000 was the last year of the previous century).

Should be:

Alabama
LSU, Clemson, OSU, OU
UGA, ND, FL, USC, AU, Texas
The rest

Oregon and Boise absolutely don’t belong

How can you lump LSU in with teams that haven’t won a championships in decades? And Boise state lol.

LSU is tier 1 every day of the week.

Yeah, at least teams that have made the playoff should be in that tier minimum.

List is dumb.

After thinking about it.

Tier 1: Alabama and Clemson
Tier 2: Ohio St and LSU
Tier 3: Georgia, Notre Dame, Oklahoma
Tier 4: Oregon and a decent amount of others, still not Boise St.

Beyond that is too much work.

I think Tiers 1 and 2 should be expanded. LSU and Oklahoma belong in the top tier. Wisconsin should be tier 2.

In Andy Staples last mailbag on the Athletic there was a question that kinda relates to this and answers what I would consider tier 1 to be.

If your school was guaranteed to win 1 national title but ONLY 1 national title in the next 20 years would you take that deal today? His “no” list was:

Alabama
Ohio St
Clemson
Georgia
LSU
Oklahoma

I think that’s pretty accurate and is the real tier 1

Ok, yeah I can see why some might say no, it would equal to less success than they've had lately.
