Pour one out for our resident razorback fans
quote:

Arkansas athletic director Hunter Yurachek informed Razorbacks players and staff last night that he’s sticking with Sam Pittman as the team’s head coach

I actually think that's the right move.

Sure, Pittman is on a hot seat, but the million dollar question is who do you get to replace him that would automatically be better?

Pittman probably told him he would retire, so they'll send him off with a vote of confidence to quiet speculation for a while.

You hire Jedd Fisch and don’t think twice about it.

This is the right move. Listening to the fans and firing coaches after one bad season with no plan in place to hire an upgrade has crippled many a program.

Someone has to post it...I hear Jimbo is available.

Would be a great OC and quarterback whisperer.

not surprised
anyhow
hopefully we can rebuild the O-line and win those close games we've lost in recent years, but I'm not confident in that.

I think it’s deeper than just one bad season. He lost the locker room and there are rumors of losing a bunch of players in the portal due to playing favorites with playing time.

Lol...our AD has confidence in a coach that is going 4-8, 1-7 and told the media after blowing a close game, "I didn't know what to do."

Pittman had better hire some ex HC as analysts to help mentor him for next season or go buy the Head Coaching for Dummies 2023 edition.

On the bright side, it sure will be easy to get tickets next season.

With Texas and OU joining next year and no divisions to hide from plus an apathetic fanbase, great job, Arkansas

Plenty of better coaches. Now he will just be a lame duck.

Try and get a guy like Traylor.
