All expansion teams owe Texas a giant "thank you!"

Every single team that has joined the SEC over the last 30 years was able to do so because of Texas' magnanimity.
Arkansas - Realized that if you can't stop taking arse whoopings from UT, you might as well get paid
South Carolina - Warm body after FSU said no to joining with Arkansas
Texas A&M - Texas gifted them an escape pod after Deloss told their Pringles man, "we'll take good care of you." See also Arkansas
Oklahoma - We generously insisted they be accepted with us, despite their subpar academics and lack of AAU status. SEC capitulated, of course.

Arkansas is 5-2 against Texas in football since joining the SEC.
In fact, it's been 5330 days since Texas beat Arkansas in football. Bush Jr. was president. "Whatever You Like" by T.I. was the #1 single on the charts.
Since that win they've been outscored 71-28.
