I believe I saw Steeles name popup with MSU. That's not happening for sure, but think anybody else would make a run at him or Lindsey?
Fixed it, forgive me, I'm a dumbass. Trying to post and listening to my daughter explain hee teenage drama at the same time. Not sure why I mixed them up.

Assuming Scot Frost goes home to Nebraska... likely... I wouldn't be shocked if UCF comes after Chip Lindsey. But unless Tennessee makes a desperation hire for Steele, he'll likely be our DC for a few years to come. And Lord knows we desperately need to keep that stability for awhile. I don't miss the Tuberville years annual Get A New Coordinator events.

I agree. I say this because of his age. If they do hire Steele, that means they were on their last-gasp.

Do you think if Chip left, Gus would try to bring in Eli Drinkwitz from NC State? I think he was a candidate last time and he has done well there.

I don't think we have to worry about this. Outside of small circles in Alabama he is a relatively unknown with no HC experience at this level. South Alabama or someone like that may take a chance on him but not a UCF like was mentioned above
