Gavrilo Princip started all of it.
This. Because he assassinated Ferdinand, we had WW I, the Communist Revolution, the Mandate System in the Middle East, WW II, the development of nuclear weapons, the Cold War and War on Terror.

At the G5 level surrounded by the most talented team.
Last season, against UF, he was 23-36 for 263 yards and 1 TD with 66 rushing yards
Against Miami, he was 20-36 for 274 yards with 1 TD and 1 INT
Not too shabby with G5 level talent around him

It definitely was.

I feel like, financially, he was well enough off to not have to sell his soul.

It feels like he's on the verge of converting.
Tucker on Islam: What happened to him?

All you have to do is look at Europe to see how Muslim "integration" is going.

Great episode imo. Sets up the final season nicely.
How should our elected representatives vote?
Posted by AUveritas on 6/24/26 at 6:35 pm
Which model seems most correct to you:
1. Representatives should vote in a way that reflects the will of the majority of their constituents.
2. Constituents elect representatives because they trust their judgment, intellect, and character. This grants them the freedom to vote based on their conscience and expertise, even if it occasionally diverges from public opinion.

Darwinism on full display
On Wednesday nights (my internal reminder that the week is more than halfway done), I have what I refer to as my bourbon and book night. I go to the mancave, grab my book and a healthy pour, and just relax. The wife doesn't bother me. It gives me something to look forward to Monday-Wednesday.
I feel much more gouged by the insurance and healthcare industries.
Spoilers for the season finale are all over the internet. Be careful out there.
I didn't notice the date on tgis particular post but there were lots of other recent ones. The reason I posted it at all is because the story was picking up steam on X.

How long until he says the same thing about them having nukes?

Iran overplayed their hand with the SoH. The gulf states are building alternative routes to move oil, and this will significantly lessen the impact in a few years. In addition to new east/west pipelines, Syria has been actively developing their capabilities to handle trucked oil and sees this as a way to improve their economy.
Are they missle proof?

Iran needs to prepare itself

Do you also care about human rights in Saudi Arabia, North Korea, China, Russia, Congo, Somalia, Ethiopia, Nicaragua, et al? Should we go to war with all of these countries?
re: Why Fyodor Dostoevsky disdained Catholicism

I find it wildly ironic that Dostoevsky, a Russian Orthodox, accused the Roman Catholic Church of caesaropapsim.
From the Greek Orthodox and the Byzantine Empire to the Tsars and dictators of Russia and the Russian Orthodox Church, I don't see how the Eastern Orthodox Churches have the moral high ground here.

re: If you were Donald J Trump the Great, how would you have handled Iran?

I would have listened to Rand Paul and Thomas Massie, instead of Marco Rubio, Lindsey Graham and Benjamin Netanyahu.
