Ashford will never be a division one starting QB sans this year.

Joey Freshwater might have something to say about that.

If Harsin could had thought to adjust to his team, he would have started Robby from day 1 and ran the Baltimore Ravens offense.

But stubborn is what stubborn does....

he was announced as the starter last week. Looks just like Robby.

I thought I saw Ashford was made captain for this week. So I would assume he starts.

Thought he was terrible at LSU. Couldn’t believe we brought him over. Made multiple social media posts (public) denigrating teammates Including once before this clunker of a season. See ya man. Have fun in the FCS.
This is true. He wasn’t well liked in the locker room. He also sucked. See ya, kid.

I’m no Gus fan and definitely didn’t want him to stick around but he woulda be Nick Marshall 2.0 in his offense. Absolutely woulda taken 9-4 after the bowl

He is the honorary captain tomorrow. No way he doesn’t start. I expect to see an extremely heavy dose of Tank though.

I’m glad we are apparently going to lean into the run game, but that means we have to change things up and add more QB reads and designed runs.

Finley did not travel with the team to Starkville, Miss., on Friday, multiple sources confirmed to AL.com. Finley’s absence from Auburn’s road trip was described by one source as a “mental health break” for the junior quarterback.

Not sure what to make of that. Did a mental break keep him from travelling or are they saying the fact he didn't get to travel made him have a breakdown?

Hoke was saying his mom was lighting into McGlynn in front of everyone at the parents meeting after Harsin got fired. Said she expects him to keep all parents in the loop on the coaching search. He said we can’t do that. She lost it.

Hoke thinks he is gonna transfer to SELA.

He also said he won’t be missed by his teammates if he goes.

FFS, Ashford puts up nearly 400 yards of offense and no turnovers, and you want Holden?

The back up quarterback is always the fans most popular player

When I heard he didn't travel with the team, this was my exact first thought. He is going to transfer to SLU in Hammond, play close to home

His parents sound like they are an issue. They should back off a bit and just let him do his thing. His dad came off pretty bad in that podcast I heard him on.

Sounds like we are cutting another cancer out before it grows any more.
Kween need to learn her place in the world of D-1 CFB.
Hint: It is not being "in the loop" in a coaching search.

Honestly, it’s probably not in the world of D1 CFB.

I didn’t even say that. My reference was that TJ, and family by extension, don’t belong in D1.
