I wouldn't be surprised to see Charles Kelly's name pop up if Steele were to leave.

Correct, we wanted T-Rob but he followed muschamp. Lance Thompson wanted the job but when we went with Steele, Thompson left to go to USC.

IIRC, we wanted him to stay on as DC after 2015, but he chose to follow WM to USCe.

Can you link that? I believe Gus offered him more money to stay, but would not offer him DC.

Paul Rhoads. He didn't exactly set records at Arky but that's because it's Arky. I thought he was underappreciated last time he was here.

I thought we didn’t offer him DC, and that is why he left.

Can’t think off the top of my head right now. Just sounds like settling like when we wanted lance Thompson 2 years ago

A DC that attacks and blitzes. Bama blitzes every single down. Is it a wonder that they're in the top 10 in defense every single year?

Wisconsin has a damn good D.C. we could pluck. I've been quite impressed with that D.

I'm sure them having a pretty decent secondary helps things.

IF Steele took the TN job, are we in danger of him taking any of our D staff? I doubt Garner would leave and T-Will probably wouldn't either unless he was given a significant promotion.

He can take Brown -- that wouldn't bother me.

Looks like Tee Martin is back in the hunt for the UT HC position. That makes me feel a little better
