Not pathetic. Just limited.

Last year he had a team of depth pieces with no straw to stir the drink. The young guy ended up leaving.

Scratch that 2 out of 3 young guys left.

This year will show if this roster building strategy has any chance of getting us to where we want to be. If we aren't competing for the SEC again, then its time to change. If we are within a couple of games of winning it or make a run in the tournament then its viable. We find out this season though.

This year looks promising with several returning players and upgrading the guard position.

I’ve seen enough discussion here to say it’s time to

Fire Bruce

Ellis, scoreboard operator at Neville Arena. He is slow and not very creative.

I hope so. Last years roster was poorly constructed. Two guys that were counted on were worthless. Tre showed real strides. PG was a huge problem for us, IMO. Lack of shooting was a bigger problem.

Including two five star locks this year.

Who are the two guys you are referring to as “locks”? I could see how you could call Ace a lock since he is at McEachern.

Ace was a lock. Rivals called him as much and doubled down on it.

Yesterday we were a heavy favorite for Fiory.

I would like us to go after Cooper Flagg just to show those arrogant Duke fans we can.

No basketball player is ever a lock until he is on the floor

The only gripe I have with Bruce........he seems to put a huge emphasis on the D end of the floor, in game, and in recruiting. I wish he would put more stock into the end of the floor where points are made.

Rivals has shown themselves to be the least reliable recruiting source when he comes to basketball. JGT goes way on limbs.

All rational reports leading up to yesterday were that it’s a toss up between Auburn and Kansas. I’m not sure how you can call a guy a lock when we were assumed to be out of the recruitment until a week ago.

Chuck Person got arrested in 2017 and it took the damn NCAA and FBI almost 4 years to level our punishment. We just got clear of scholarship reductions and probation last year. That shite was a giant shackle around our program and Bruce still achieved success.

Cooper and Thor both should have stayed another season, but Bruce supports his kids to make their decisions. Pretty sure we would have had Kuminga and Scoot, if not for G league. Sucks we didn’t get Flory, but he went to Kansas ffs. Bruce has done a ridiculous job building our program, and we have plenty of time to recruit other players for this class and/or hit the portal. We have a very talented roster this season. If Aden can develop this year, we could be very dangerous come tournament time.

GMAFB

Name one 247 writer that had him CBd to Kansas. Just one.

82% on ON3

Who had the heavy lead on every recruiting service?

Maybe not a lock, but not a toss up either.

You even wished us a happy Flory Bidunga day. #tossup.

Name one non-Duke 247 writer that had him CBd to Auburn. It’s clear now the Duke writers assumed it was Auburn and all jumped on the prediction train. The HCs of the four team didn’t know where he was going, but you think team writers did

Every reputable writer said they didn’t know where he was going… so yeah, sounded like a toss up.

Because Flory was announcing. Wild stuff, I know.

Jamie Shaw- he fits exactly right here.

Apparently there was enough commotion for Auburn to get an ultra majority of the predictions. Would you consider 82% and 100% a heavy majority? I would. I dont care to know why people got shite wrong. I care to know that Auburn was a heavy favorite and now I see internet user AA7 (which is known for blaming a wide reciver for going out of bounds to make a catch even though the wide receiver was doing all he could while making an-over-the-shoulder bread basket catch while staring right into the sky) trying to do revisionist history saying "well auburn wasnt really heavy favorites"

You trying to argue Auburn wasnt viewed as the heavy favorite is foolish. And you are not going to get me into some insider-versus reality rabbit hole just because you want to lean some out of the "happy flory bidunga day" comment.

Shaw is on3, not 247 which is the site you singled out first time. But sure I’ll give you Shaw who made a low confidence prediction and in the article he wrote for the prediction stated that Auburn was a team to watch. I will give that Shaw was someone worth listening to that picked Auburn. I forgot about that one.

It was so high because of the sole prediction we just discussed. I think we were under 2% before that. On3’s prediction machine is pretty trash if you didn’t know. But if you want to treat that as gospel as opposed to the majority of actual people saying they have no idea what he’s gonna do then do you jangy.

I’m still right about this btw

You trying to double down on this to save your idiotic “lock” statement is foolish.

Henceforth I’ll never wish you a “happy [insert recruit that’s announcing] day” ever again. My bad smooth brain

I singled them both out in the same post.

I want yall to stick with the metrics that we have known for years. A team has the majority of the predictions- they are the heavy favorties.
quote:

Of course you think you are. How can a wide reciver not stare at his feet to check for out of bounds when he is tracking the ball in the air like a centerfielder making a bread in the basket catch. People teach that shite in Kindergardten.

quote:

I threw that statement away in favor for "heavy favorite." Idiot. That's in black and white on your screen just like on mine.

I am not the only person who considered Auburn heavy favorite.
quote:

od morning, Tiger fans. Is a great day of recruiting news upon us?

Auburn target Flory Bidunga is set to announce his commitment this evening and should feel great about its chances to land him according to two recruiting sites.

The five-star center is the best at his position for the 2024 cycle. If Auburn were to earn his commitment, it would be huge. However, that would be a secondary headline. If Bidunga chooses Auburn, he would do so over blue blood programs such as Kansas, Duke, and Michigan.

Does Auburn have a legitimate chance to make this happen? According to recruiting experts from both 247Sports and On3… absolutely.

Good God, why would I want your smoothed brained callouts when you are probably the dipshit that jinxed us and got that dude committed to Kansas. Where was the TJ Lindsey Day?

Y’all are showing great dedication to argue about kids that never played for us. Lol

I think we will be ok. I still think we are a top 4 team in the conference consistently. I mean would could get Calipari and pay him the most ever for a college coach that assures nothing. Bruce is the perfect fit. I want a national championship but his tenure her for me will not be based off if we win a National championship. We are finally a destination school and hopefully he builds a foundation that holds another 20 years after he retires.
