After the win today, Auburn is 10th. 1.5 games out of 5th

There’s a lot of movement early in the season. I think this team finish in 5-7 range with a winning conference record

Cardwell has been so good for us. I really like that kid

Same. He’s a guy who plays hard but has fun. He’s also one we should be able to have for four years.

So Cooper doesn't qualify on minutes but his Assist Rate per KenPom would be #1 at 57.5 nationally. Next highest is around 49. Powell is #73 nationally at 31

His fouls drawn per 40 would be top ~5 Nationally

He really does have special passing ability. I was thinking last night it might be the best I've seen since Kidd at Cal.

I think the key will be when we play teams who have very good defensive guards will they be able to disrupt Cooper's abilities to drive or find the open shooter.

I think to reach those goals you mention, we need desperately to have Powell back to provide that guard relief for Cooper. while Cooper draws the defense to him, that leave Powell open for good looks at 3's and drives to the basket too.

Powell also provides better ball handling when we are pressured.

So I think we need Powell in there to meet those goals, when we play the UTs, Alabamas, LSUs, etc...

MSU, not A&M although I wish we had another crack at them. We’ve got a stretch of winnable games after Baylor and then the last four games are going to be tough. I’d love to end the season with a W in that airplane hanger of an arena.

No. They said he is moving and that's it. He won't be back until 2 weeks after he starts practicing per Bruce.

Doubt he’s back this season. And if he’s is, doubt it’s at the same level as before

(Stoked for him and Auburn fans if I’m wrong and I’m pulling for it)

Starting out pretty good tonight. As far as Powell not sure when he will be back but there are several neurological things they can do to help Powell get better.

Cooper is so smooth.

I can forgive Cambridge for slapping the backboard on that.

Love the hustle of the bigs on this team. They might not be great offensively but they hustle their tails off back on defense.

I like the ball movement when it isn't just pick and roll. Way to much standing around except Cooper and the screener. This cutting and lobs, fast break, jump shots much better mix.

If we find a PG next year, assuming Cooper leaves, this team could be really good.
