The Coopers were wealthy way before Omar started being an agent.
Was not aware. If they were doing well enough to buy two Maseratis then kudos to them. Hoping to get some resolution soon on this one.

Pearl says Cooper’s initial eligibility review is ongoing and they hope to have a decision soon

NCAA is going to make the decision to go g-league or college really easy for some of these guys.

Can you be more specific on model and year? As someone who owned a Quattroporte for a couple of years, they can be bought on the cheap at just 2 years old. Hell, if it’s a Ghibli, it might have been under 50k at just a year old.

Auburn HC Bruce Pearl is asked by @JoshVitale if the postseason ban will be enough to put the Chuck Person situation behind the program: "No, I don't. But I think it's another step taken, and I think it's the right thing to do. We've got to continue to work through the process."

Per JG Tate:
Sharife Cooper, the Tigers' 5-star PG, did not make the trip to Ft. Myers, Fla., for the team's season-opening game against St. Joe's. He hasn't yet been cleared by the NCAA.

We will be self-imposing scholly reductions in the year 2047 in hopes that the NCAA will finally allow us to put the Chuck Person saga behind us.

Who starts at the Point? Turbo or Powell? I’m guessing Turbo.. and was also mentioned that Flanigan has seen some practice time at the 1.

I think it's Powell, bc he is better suited to handle all that is required of a PG. I also don't think Turbo had been working at PG even when Sharife was able to practice. It was Powell.
Ofc Pearl says he is working 3-4 players at the 1 and the 2 now bc Cooper will not play for now.
The more I write this stuff the madder I get about how all this is shaking out.

Vitale -
Bottom line, I wouldn’t get caught up in the listed starters. Going to see heavy rotation early and the best five will start increasing minutes played the next month or so

Bruce Pearl declined to say who Auburn's starting 5 would be vs. Saint Joseph's when we spoke to him this morning, but FWIW, here are the "probable starters" listed in the game notes:
G - Tyrell Jones
G - Allen Flanigan
G - Devan Cambridge
F - Jaylin Williams
F - JT Thor
