Who knows. He was recently sent back down to his G league squad.

Yup, then score 29 that night? Wishful thinking I guess.

29 in 28 minutes iirc. Doesn’t seem like Harper gets much of a chance to showcase his talents when he’s called up imo.

We need to aspire to play like the current Rockets without Capela.

They have 5 guys on the floor who can dribble and 4 who can shoot 3s , one in Westbrook who incorrectly believes he can shoot 3s

.the Utah Jazz has no idea how TF to guard this and are completely out of sorts offensively. Gobert is a liability on defense as the defensive player of the year

Edit: we should aspire to shoot 3s better tho

SIAP We are 15 in the NET today. Also the selection committee came out with it's first Top 16 of the season yesterday. It was based on results through Friday. They have AU #13.

Seems the likely ceiling for any SEC team is the 3 line this year.

ETA: it does seem the NCAA rankings were released before the LSU game completed, for whatever that’s worth

Andy Kennedy said he thought we could get to a two seed.

Likely going to have to run the table or have no more than one more loss including the SEC tournament To have a chance.

I think that 3-4 line is most likely

There is little difference between a 2 and 3 seed. We just want to avoid the 4 or 5 so you don't have to match up with a 1 seed until the elite 8.

Rockets offense / defense was working, they just aren't great shooters.

We should take it to the next level and add in 5 3FG shooters

This year in particular I'm not concerned about seeding at all except for what it would mean for the program to be a 2 seed or higher. There are a couple of teams I'd like to avoid matching up with, sure, but there is so much parity this year that the potential 1 and 2 seeds aren't any scarier than 3's and 4's this year.

I’m just messing with you. Bogdonovic hit a ridiculous game winner.

A road win over Arkansas and home win over LSU drops us a spot in the coaches poll. Now 11th in both polls. Go figure.

I guess Arkansas losing 5 out of its last 7 just shows they are beginning to be average, so our win was not a plus to them.

I always thought any win on the road against good teams was a plus in ranking...guess I am wrong.

So who did the coaches jump over us to drop one?

I agree...i need to stop looking at the polls until the last week of our league games...

So the Rockets experiment was supposed to fail against a team like the Jazz who had an elite post defender/rebounder in Gobert.

My takeaway was that Gobert becomes unplayable if he has to stretch to the 3FG. Not sure what his value is if he isn't rim protecting, not in position to rebound and isn't agile enough to stay in front of a guard

We are talking about a DPOY too

Look I think Dayton is a solid team and it's cool they are getting respect, but what is so impressive about their resume compared to ours that has them pushing top 5?

Is it the close loss vs Kansas?
