In other news as folks have asked he had surgury yesterday to repair a minor groin injury that has plauged him for quite some time. He will be 100% good to go come early June when he arrives on campus.
I personally think Powel will be a fantastic player for AU and brings some serious sharp shooting skills to the table.

From watching too many of his highlights — im most impressed with his ability to get to the rim and his body control. He’s pretty big and he can certainly shoot it but he’s so good with the ball in his hand. Really excited to see him play

Injury concerns aside he seems like a really underrated recruit due to circumstances (mid high school move, injuries)

Without fail, every damn game we start like this. I feel like a broken record but I've never seen such a consistent trend.
