I brought over information that someone that covers Auburn and I get accused of being an Alter and worse a Bama alt. I will tell you I know nothing of the reputation nor the reliability of Marshall or Tate. So to all of you

I only want Gus gone and if it does not happen this year we will be having this discussion again next year.

You didn't tell us where it came from in your OP.

I am out for a few seasons if we promote Steele. We have no interest in winning if he is our HC.

I agree with the OP and from what I understand Steele has let a few people know this so we can plan appropriately.

Lots of moving parts and opinions, but buckle up if this does happen. Noway anyone wants Gus with Steele gone.

EDIT: My information is not from Marshall or Tate.

At least say you heard from your sister-in-law's cousin's friend that overheard a conversation at 31 Flavors last night.

What is he losing while being attached to Gus? Gus is the ugly person at the bar that makes him look great. No matter if Gus wins or not, it’s not on him. The pressure isn’t on him. What gives.

Maybe he just doesn't enjoy working with Gus? I've worked for a shitty boss before, at some point it just becomes too much to deal with.

I would welcome Steele as HC. He's been around long enough to have learned a few things about management like Ed O has. Im sure he'd turn the offense over completely to the OC. And what OC wouldn't want to coach alongside a Steele led defense?? I bet they'd line up from college to the pros to coach with Steele.

Do it BOT!!!

Could be how Gus runs practice. I have always asked how can our offense be that bad if they have to face that defense daily in practice? It just doesn't make any sense.

Joe Brady, he'll want to keep Steele for stability and experience and he's young enough his ego won't feel the need to kick everyone out.

Championships galore ensue

Just read JGT's article, mostly speculation, but I agree with that speculation. Cliffs

*Record against Rivals
*Factual that Gus primarily survived because of Leath (CYA),
*Folks that stopped the PTB last year are gone (Leath) or silent
*The same PTB from last year, still want him gone.

IMHO, Gus could have saved his job if he had beaten either Florida or UGA. I do not expect Gus to be our coach next year.

People called you out because you didn't put where it came from in the OP.

This is an AU complaint, but specifically at Gus. But not I am tired of us underperforming. We have more resources than anyone, yet we can never find someone to aggressively take the next step. Gus is a Tubs and Chiz redo.

Would he be owed quite a bit more $?
