I too wish we could have everyone we want but the world doesn't spin like that. We have to be practical and efficient. Stressing quality, quantity and continuity in harmony.

According to On3 Murphy is 53.3% AU and 46.7% UK.

You may know this, but just wanted to point out, that’s basically a 50/50 split because those are the two visits he has made.

No predictions logged that I can tell. The percentages spit out by the on3 machine are going to be wonky given the short timeline, unless there’s a few predictions involved

My point is a clear number 1 and some backups. It appears that we have two previous starters coming in. Presumably only one plays. Back in the old days, that wouldn't matter a whole lot, but in the current environment, you are paying big money to a kid to practice and then leave the following year.

Y’all have to stop looking at that.

All of the “buzz” that they measure was pre-JA.

I want them to compete as well, but the moment you get Thompson or Moe, Wright will start to evaluate his chances and in all likelihood jump. These dudes have hundreds of thousands of dollars to consider, and many of them know they may never get another payday like this in life.

So what’s our line looking like?

OT Chaplin
OT Murphy
OG Wade
OG Joiner
C Lew

What about DeAndre Carter? We heard anything about him?

Joiner will not start a game this season if we can help it. We are actively working to prevent that. Good kid though

I'm just passing along what's on the On3 site because someone asked about it. They might need to update their site if Murphy is no longer interested in Auburn.

That RPM thing at ON3 is the worst thing about that site. Never becomes remotely accurate until analysts/mods start populating it with predictions because at that point it is purely based off visits by the recruit.

ETA: don't pay attention to their NIL valuation either

I would think, if we didn't get anyone else, that Carter would jump Joiner for one of the guard spots. From what I had heard, he looked really good last year, just wasn't ready yet.

Also, don't think it is a foregone conclusion that Murphy would beat Wade out if we moved Wade to RT (I think Murphy still wins out, but not a given like it is for the VT transfer). In that scenario, could see a guard combo of Carter/Joiner or if we get the Northwestern guy, him and Carter.

ETA: I forgot about Senda as well. Curious if he comes into the mix at all.

Pete Nakos put in a prediction for Wendell Moe to Tennessee, so that one is probably done.

I just figured one of Wade/Murphy would move inside. Then you have Joiner/Carter/whoever else in the second guard role

If Carter is what he’s supposed to be then I think we should be in pretty good shape

Fair assessment. I still think we need another big time inside lineman

Bama fans in shambles. Freeze has cut off Husky in Alabama. Lanning has cut him off on the west coast. They have zero 26 recruits. If you don't have any locked down at this point, you won't.

All their rants now are about how the current system is unfair and needs to be burnt down and remade in their favor.
