So it basically appears we swapped out our offense for USF's...maybe with a little less on the line. Doubt it could be that much worse...I think. How's the portal tradeoff looking on defense?

Bringing in the USF guys is fine for depth, but also a sign to me that we are striking out on other guys and the USF lineman are the back up plan.

Yes, it looks like we’re getting our asses handed to us in OL recruiting by… Kentucky of all people. They’ve signed like 3 or 4 of the top 10 OL in the portal. Smfh

Looks like UK is handing everyone their asses, not just AU, when it comes to high profile OL recruiting. Our "all world" OL we bought for 2025 sucked out loud. I am fine going into the season with some USF guys on the OL.

shite, why didn't OHIO STATE just pay him to stay? The fact that they just let him leave clearly indicates that even they thought he wasn't worth whatever his asking price was.
This guy is not a "give him a blank check and pay him whatever he wants" type talent.

It’s beginning to look like others are inflating the value of OL and AU Isn’t going along with it so we are left holding our large bag of money.
