Well, I think everyone is going to overpay so AU is not alone in that boat.
I certainly see your point and that is why I am liking Golesh more and more. I definitely agree that Sumrall and Durkin would not be a good fit.
Sumrall has been the one constant associated with AU job since before it came open.

Sumrall is still probably the favorite. I would like Golesh as well. I don't believe Dillingham, Lashlee or Brohm are going to leave.

Yes I do at age 62 and after radiation treatments to the head area. I find myself much more emotional than I was as a younger man.

austudent22 was probably the most informed regular poster that I have come across multiple AU boards since around 2000. I took a hiatus from around 2018 until about a month or so ago from all message boards other than just reading this one. I am currently back on AUFamily and that site has improved since I was last banned from there. :lol:

As usual, I will go with the “emotional flavor of the hour” and move Golesh way on up the list. Purely based on a half of football this evening!??
Besides documented ceilings on the field, Franklin’s documented scummy behavior off of the field makes him a hard no for me. There are several candidates with higher ceilings and no documented scandals out there we can easily get. I would put Durkin above Franklin.
Based on his stint as HC at MD? Not figuring in the controversy; just on field results. However; if he had never been a HC prior to now, Durkin would absolutely be at the top of a list for most any team.
Same. However; the Dogs D has regressed since Lanning left and Muschamp stepped back.
