Exactly. So why freak out over a QB leaving that just went .500 his 3rd year starting?

If I truly thought he was responsible for 6-6 I’d be begging for the trash QB from Oklahoma too

Bo lost two games for Auburn and TJ cleaned up one of those.

Bo didn’t lose the Mississippi State game. He didn’t lose the USCe game. He would’ve beat Bama. He didn’t win or lose the games against Penn State and Georgia.

Rattler completed 75% of his passes this year. Statically, he would be one if the better QBs in the SEC. I can handle confidence, I can't watch people fumble from air in critical points during games.

as bad as his accuracy and passing touch are, Bo's mindset and mental toughness are worse. That's why you can't even say that we would have beaten Alabama with him, because 1 simple bad play can send him down a spiral that he can't recover from. Our defense gave up 0 tds in the aTm game and lost because little Bo lost his mind. Look at B Young last Saturday got harassed, sacked, and hit all game. No running game. but he didn't lay down. Bo needs to go to lower level where his athleticism can overcome his shortcomings like in 5a Alabama high school football.

He was one of the least turnover prone QBs in the SEC. anecdotal evidence doesn’t support your judgment

He wouldn't be leaving because of the fans. He'd be leaving because we can't put the pieces around him to showcase his abilities and compete.

You think he likes having to whirly bird around 15 yards behind the LOS in order to give our receivers time to finally get open?

Without him we would have been 3-9 and if he hadn't gotten hurt we would have almost definitely been 8-4.

I really would have thought the last two games would have stopped all this stupidity but alas...

TBH, I think it's a lot if reasons Bo is comtemplating leaving.

Some of the family HAS commented according to sources that they were not happy how fans(those that were relentless and crude) jumped on Bo.

But it might be just one of the reason, and maybe not the primary. It could be the players around him as you said. It could be not knowing the OC coming in.

At the beginning of the season I was ready to see someone else give QBing a try, when Bo really struggled. And I know some on here think most AU fans blamed only Bo. I was not one of them. I simply wanted to see if we could generate more passing offense with another passing QB.
But once he came back after GA St and seemed to focus on using those new skills and QB changes HArsin/Bobo were teaching him, he seemed to get better. After that I never wanted to see Finley. We had other issues down the stretch to be so unproductive on offense in the 2nd halves of games. And it didn't change when Finley got in there.

Therefore, that seems why Harsin quickly made the change. Bobo's offense just wasn't capable of finishing games.
If Arkansas at Alabama can score 35, then we should have been able to get another TD in the 2nd half, at home against Alabama.

Based on his mannerisms on the sideline with Harsin, it seems like he and Harsin got along fine, and Bo can thank him for helping him improve his game...

KN talked to someone connected to AU about Rattler. Summary is that he’s not a great fit and Auburn hasn’t reached out

Newsflash: there are only a handful of teams that have all the pieces in place to "showcase his abilities", and they all already have QB's who are better than Nix. You think there's a lineup forming at Alabama and Georgia to bring in a 59-61% completion QB who throws 10-20 TD's a season and is easily flustered/mechanically inconsistent?

What you just described is a game-manager QB. When the pieces are all there and nothing is going wrong, he can make some plays. That describes most starting-quality QB's. As mentioned above, you literally saw Alabama's QB get his shite pushed in by us for a full game play after play, and yet he never cracked and threw strike after strike to win the game. Bo Nix has consistently shown that once things break down and start going badly, he loses composure and it's a wrap. He couldn't even keep his composure against Georgia Southern. But right, keep telling yourself that he's fricking Tom Brady but he just doesn't have pieces around him.

Your post is also moronic and devoid of common sense. Did Bo Nix not have Anthony Schwartz, Seth Williams, and Tank Bigsby last year? That's two guys that got drafted in the NFL and a star RB. Oh, but Anthony Schwartz had trouble getting open right? There wasn't ANY issues with him being constantly overthrown down the field? It's always something else for you people - it's never the clear and obvious deficiencies of the guy who actually holds the ball and is tasked with making plays.

Spencer Rattler is Malik Henry 2.0. Anyone wanting him clearly didn't watch many of their games and is just going by name and star ratings.. He's a headcase who blames anyone but himself. Not to mention multiple off the field issues dating back to high school.

Gabriel isn't coming here and Miller is more unknown and unproven than Finley or Dee Davis.. Yall gotta face facts. We need Bo next year.

TJ spiraled out of control...hard to see a healthy Bo giving us a worse results than what we saw in the Iron Bowl.

Attitude wise, maybe. Rattler was much better than Henry and it isn’t, wasn’t and won’t ever be close.

I understand your perspective but I'm tired of Bo and his inconsistencies. I think that's why most of of the Auburn fans doesn't care if he comes back. They just want something different but that doesn't mean that different will be better.
