Caldwell just said he didn't expect Nicholas sign with us.
I don’t expect him to either. Freeze needs another experienced DL from the portal to go along with these stud freshmen coming in.
Biggest concern, and the coaches know it. Inside what do we have. Travis actually showed life in Maryland game and had four tackles. Reed, I dont know where his head is, he was highly recruited, no production, off field issues. And Jones is serviceable. I think Faulk moves inside, by this fall he will be close to six foot seven and over 300lbs. But he needs some help for sure.
Edge rotation will have true freshmen and strongside behind Zeke will have true freshmen, before the season is out Amaris is probably the starter, with Blockton and Lindsey helping.
But you are right jville, right now the interior line is looking like the chunnel to our opponents.

JuCo OL signee Seth Wilfred has been named NJCAA First Team All-American.
This is a very nice pick up and I think he has three years. Now we have a legit backup tackle for either side, a new starting LT, Wade gets to move to his natural position, center and right side with more experience. OL will definitely be upgraded this year.

upgraded in a huge way over ZE. He wasn’t the recruiter y’all think he is. If he was that good he wouldn’t be working at Houston right now.
Bigger loss Trovon or Etheridge? Better recruiter Trovon or Etheridge? Better history as a coach? Don’t understand and never will the Trovon love from most Auburn fans. We loss 3 Auburn guys, Cadillac, ZE, and TR. Seems more folks were upset about TR. I will stick to my belief that ZE was the biggest loss and losing TR was not a big deal.

You keep changing your argument so please just let it go. You look silly now.

1. The person you quoted is saying nothing about Trovon Reed.
2. It’s not sticking to your belief when it’s a completely different argument than you’ve made. I would’ve agreed with that statement.

My belief is no 1 coach, player, or ex player is bigger than the program. Auburn will recruit well as long as there is effort being put in by people who can evaluate talent and fill needs. The guy from LSU will be a big addition, we have a staff full of recruiters

Bigger loss Trovon or Etheridge?

I'm not even buying he screwed up. He just wants to go to Houston now that he can be next to that babe daughter of the HC
Posted on 1/28/24 at 6:38 pm to jt33
How would you like it if we lost Mcgriff?
Posted on 1/28/24 at 7:13 pm to jt33
He didn’t screw up. His gf is pregnant and is the daughter of the Houston HC

Great. I am happy for him. His story of needing to travel to Texas just to get a second opinion so that he could play football due to tearing ligaments in his neck didn't get enough story time.
Etheridge got the second opinion and then tackled someone as hard as he could just to prove he wasn't about to die. He then proceeds to win a national championship for Auburn. Etheridge knows what he wants, go get it baybay.

I don't think losing either is a big deal. Trovon wasn't some lights out type guy. Better hype guy than recruiter.
ZE was/isn't a good recruiter that is why they always paired him with Crime or Aldredge.

Interesting to me but Brayden Jacobs committed to Clemson over the weekend. I thought we were his clear leader. Maybe we were slow playing him or maybe he jumped earlier then expected

Everybody getting all our legacies
RW heading west. Vandagriff dissed us.
Zeke have any other younger brothers he can send somewhere else, one going to SC the other bound for georgia, maybe he has some other relatives he can convince to go somewhere else. And we ended up with the runt of the litter.

I think Perry is going to surprise a lot of people.
He's ranked the 8th best receiver in the country for 2024...
