This class is actually put together in a meaningful way too, it addresses our most important needs, unlike some of Gus/Chizik classes.

We clearly needed edge rushers and went and got 3 great ones, needed explosive play makers at WR and got 4, possibly 5.

Needed size and explosiveness on the interior Dline and filled that hole as well. Really impressive.

Do not worry, Warrior. If it happens, we've already offered to send him Piggly Wiggly hookers and snack food.

He even said something in his presser about knowing you have to stack elite classes to win. I don't see him falling off anytime soon. He knows what it takes.

Since ESD is so much more popular now, why would a guy like Ryan Williams wait until February to sign? What’s the benefit of waiting if you know where you want to go? Is this a tell that he’s not sure he wants to go to bama? I’m genuinely curious, I don’t know tons of recruiting stuff.

And we were soo close with LJ. What a haul. We had to have pulled the best WR and LB classes in the country as well

I agree smuphy. I liked Gus pretty well, but some of his classes were like nice car parts, but for 3 or 4 different cars. What we went out and got this year actually seems to make sense, in terms of roster building

Bc he reclassified… he’s only been a 2024 kid for a couple weeks.

Ryan Williams reclassified to the current class a week ago. So the main benefit is taking officials since he wouldn’t have had time to do so before ESD

He’s a 5* kid that’s not an early enrollee for 2024, which sounds weird to say since he was a ‘25 kid. There’s really no advantage for him to sign on ESD given that setting.

He reclassified to 2024 and gets to retake visits to schools of interest. He can play the field for more money.

Just imagine what the class would’ve been if the cheap asses signed up for OTV, and they got that extra $1 million donation to work with. But they’re welcome for my $34 a month doing work today.

Gus also had the problem of a lot of his blue chippers busting (or being kicked).

I don't get the feeling that will be the case with this class.

Agree with this if we land some OL. Not the highest priority in the class but still need some layers of guys so we don’t become dependent on a class down the road.

It’s coming. Getting Ryan Willams and possibly Favour would get us to top 5 this year.

Stidham,

You obviously slept through finance class.

I offer a bunch of money to a hs kid and he disses me. The backup QB disses me. I have a chance at another natty and the ONLY QB I have is one of the best in college ball who then reminds me I have no option B since Elvis has left the building.

Does anyone in their right mind think they "saved" any money when they lost the hs kid to Nebraska; or, per chance, they handed it to Beck on a silver platter and said please dont go pro?

Take your meds or bring back the interim Stidham we so enjoyed
