Wonder what he thinks of our current qb situation. I guess it doesn’t matter to him as much. Robbie could still be around though yeah?

5 QBs could be on the roster next year. Thorne, Ashford, Holden, Brown , and White.

Plus we should be shooting for another top 10 QB next class.

The joy is back after 3 years in the darkeness. The Idaho potato famine and Covid are over.

Man if we could create a pipeline to Buford, that would be amazing!

For some reason, we have not done well with our Buford recruits in the past.

Good morning all. I hope every slept well.
Recruits out there are taking notice, calling our guys wanting to know what's going on in Auburn. It's a beautiful thang!
Hugh will back it up come kick off!
We will be one hell of a tough
out!
Have a great day and be safe.

If I remember well, the last 3 or 4 have been total busts. And one or two got in trouble and kicked off

Was looking at the on3 rankings. We are 15 right now. However average per recruit, I think only Ohio State, Bama, and Georgia are above us.

We land Carter, with some of these other high profile guys, I believe some OL targets we "lost" will reconsider and pick up the phone

What's the timetable on Carter's commitment? We talking sometime in August, or the next few days? Brian Harsin sucks, just had to say that lol

WOW What a weekend... This is the kind of recruiting news we've all wanted to see and hear about from BCW.

On a side note... as a casual follower over the years we've all seen the flips and re-flips and shenanigans with bammer... is the NIL different can we feel secure about these commitments in the NIL era? Or is nothing over until the signature is in?

Thanks, I'll hang up and listen

WDE!!!

Nothing is ever finalized until they sign the dotted line but we are not dealing with clown shoes Gus and idiot Harsin anymore.

Gus created some positive core memories for me, so I won't be completely negative about him. Harsin however goes into the Tony Franklin Hall of shame for disrespecting Auburn then crying for sympathy. Hell, even Tony could claim that Auburn did him wrong for firing him mid season, but Harsin has nothing but Auburn cash lining his pockets. Tony pissed me off because he wouldn't shut up about what happened years and years after tubbs canned him

A lot of top guys are locking in deals before the season gets going. As we get closer to NSD, boosters want to know what their money is going toward and coaches get antsy knowing that they may leave money on the table if they miss a top guy.

If you’re Russaw or Smith in ‘23 you can wait as long as you want. But a lot of guys are making sure programs aren’t spending their deal money while they’re dragging out their recruitments

I still lean toward thinking that it’s never over until there is a signature. There’s always a program that can put money together quick and land a guy you were banking on. Big part of how we landed Lew and Faulk, IMO. Money guys filled the coffers when Cohen was looking for a coach

Those are both guys who really loved Auburn but we were hampered because of the coach we had recruiting them. They didn't just randomly flip because of money. Both of those guys never would have committed elsewhere if we had Freeze (or a competent recruiter) from the beginning.

Perry Thompson is not coming here because of NIL. He hates the Julio Jones comparisons. Just amazing recruiting by Freeze/Davis/etc. on selling him a vision.
