Thought he got fouled but man what an effort from this team. Lost by 1 vs the #1 team in the country with nearly an entire new roster. We will beat a lot of teams This year. Gotta clean up the free throws but we have a really good team. Better than I anticipated.

I'm not even upset. A brand new team against the #1 team in the country in the 4th game of the year and taking them to the wire. ,..... I'll take it and can't wait to see what this team can do.

Yeah, being 4 games in with an entire new team and coach, I think this team will only grow.

This game should do a lot for the confidence of these guys. They know they can play with the good teams.

Welp not gonna complain too hard. In it the whole time and were a break or two away from winning it.

Feel better about Auburn under CSP than I did a week ago.

Thought the same thing. Oh well.

This team is better than I thought. Tbh I thought we were about to get hammered but they proved to be way more physically tough than I thought they were. I’m optimistic after that. Even though we lost that should help us a good bit in the metrics.

Proud of the guys. They played tough. Poor FT shooting doomed us. SWA has to improve or you can't play him late in games. The one disheartening thing........we had 22 seconds and didn't get off one legit good shot.

1. There are no moral victories but that should be encouraging to everyone. Losing Hall down the stretch obviously hurt big time, glaring on that last possession.

2. Really sucks losing because of so many missed free throws.

3. Refs didn't cost us the game so save it for later in the season when they inevitably will.

4. Should be a fun team to watch grow over the season and go through the wars in the SEC. We should be able to compete.

Not mad. They could’ve called a foul on either of our last two shots though.

That one guy who missed so many FTs (Adam’s?) needs to be shooting them for hours and hours this week

shite refs, yes. Should there be consequences for those refs, yes. but GTFO here calling for bad shite to happen to people's families. that's just uncalled for bullshite and we don't need fans like that.

Given his comments about patience I feel like he has the pulse of the Auburn fanbase and will avoid such a faux pas.

know I do feel better about this team and Steven though. There wasn't a single second that I felt like he was out coached and we we're way tougher than I thought would would end up being. We will only get better.

All of this. He coached a good game. Just need to work on those free throws. Defense is coming along. Impressed that he adjusted and pretty much shut down Flemings after halftime.

Hall still had a double double. 20 & 11. That guy is the truth. I hope he heals up quickly. We go as he goes this year.

The only thing I didn't like was how we tried to force it to Pettiford in the final 23 seconds.
