Took the pitchers glove off on that come backer
quote:

Tahaad- Back up PG.
Overton- Still need a back up 2. If Walker grows into that great, but counting on that seems a little.. optimistic to me.
Dowd- Back up 3.
A starting 4- Freeman
And then C is already full.
Seems like we will get 3 more guys and with what's already signed, who knows what the money situation is but I'm guessing it's running slim. I'm with auburnnyc, I'm thinking you only add one more guard and roll with Pett, Overton, Muschalek, Walker and freshman Williams in a combination of the 1 and 2 spot. Then I agree another 3 and 4. After that, it wouldn't surprise me if they don't add anyone else. Adding the above 3 and assuming Opurum returns, that would be 13 on scholarship.

We keeping Muschalek for a reason?
Because we can have up to 15 on scholarship and he's probably being paid near nothing.

If they actually paid him 2 mil, Dave Ramsey has the sads for that athletic dept
I would certainly like to have him back but at nowhere near that kind of money.

Which announcer was it that called Overton just a role player early in the season
Fran Fraschilla
KO takes them to OT one more time…with a much better result. Good on the team for bowing up in OT with a massively limited bench. WDE!

Hate to drop that 2nd one but like Meatloaf said “two out of three ain’t bad”.

He has some type of heart issue
Is this confirmed? I hope they can treat / monitor that condition for the young man. I always figured it something other than a typical injury since they never would come out and say anything definitive (unless I missed it) but this is the first I've seen an actual reason for his prolonged absence.

They’re up 19 with 3 min to go
quote:

Chance Westry — UAB — 6’5 — PG/SG
15 PPG, 5 APg
I can't speak for any of the other players but I've watched this former Tiger on TV and live and he was lukewarm, especially his ball handling. His 3pt % is not good either.
Young fella already has a little meat on those bones, nice to see in a 7 footer
3/25 post...

Narcisse Ngoy is a name to watch in this class, 7'0 center, 7'6 wingspan, averaged 10.3 ppg, 11.6 rpg, 2.7 bpg.
Smuphy on point, well done

The other Boozer forcing a pass that he did not need to make was a poor decision on his part. I can't put that on a coach

It's kinda hard to believe but I guess he just "brain farted" there in the moment. But honestly, I was surprised to see them passing it around in the back court like they did. I thought after Cameron Boozer caught the inbound, he would hold it. And as makersmark said, they had a timeout too. Just a blunder of a sequence all the way around.
