The other Boozer forcing a pass that he did not need to make was a poor decision on his part. I can't put that on a coach
It's kinda hard to believe but I guess he just "brain farted" there in the moment. But honestly, I was surprised to see them passing it around in the back court like they did. I thought after Cameron Boozer caught the inbound, he would hold it. And as makersmark said, they had a timeout too. Just a blunder of a sequence all the way around.
Ball hangs up and they look at each other, smh
Be nice to string a few hits here and chase Fay out of the game
Edit, welp

Here’s a breakdown of money spent. New gm better get on the phone with donors.
Who’s throwing the roster $$
Yikes at Kentucky if accurate

They have no offensive game outside of 5 ft
I feel like that's the second time I've heard the "good grades" comment being thrown out for Magwood getting to play. I'm starting to wonder if on top of his lackluster defense and social media commentary, he was having some academic issues?
Nice way to start conference play.
Hopefully he’s ok, if not I hope Graves is feeling better soon.

So are some of y'all being serious about wanting to bring him back? He left the team after supposedly agreeing to a new NIL deal and then backed out after hearing what incoming guys were going to get. Nah, he walked out on a program that gave him a second chance and put up with his antics, all for more money, fine that was his choice. He left and I wouldn't want that locker room drama for 1 more or 6 more games.
Belyeu, He’s really been struggling at the plate this year
Helluva play by Belyeu

quote:Sure but do you want to replace every player? I think there is value in keeping some guys, SWA being one of them. He's a true freshman, you don't think he can improve? How long did it take for Dylan Cardwell or Jaylin Williams to be impactful? Players retained don't have to be a starter for next year, but you have to have some sort of continuity/culture; replacing everybody every year is too much. Nothing wrong with keeping SWA, Jovic or Freeman. You need a core of returning players and fill in the blanks with a freshman or two and transfers.
There isn't a player on this roster that is not easily replaceable.
re: Basketball Recruiting Thread 2026 - Caleb Williams commits!!

quote:I would tend to agree. There are only so many "sure thing" freshman out there and you better have deep pockets to secure their commitment. It's why picking up 4-6 freshman per class is a thing of the past under most circumstances. They won't stick around to be developed but will be paid for their time on the bench and then will leave for another program to "get playing time". Money is better spent on transfers, Bruce even stated NIL changed the way he recruited and the number of freshman he recruited.
No idea why we offered him. He's not going to contribute as a freshman imo.
Looks like Martay Barnes has committed to FSU

Yeah, I never saw anything other than “medical condition”.
I'm with you on SWA, Jovic and Freeman. And I do like the thought of Overton staying. I'm curious about the others:
1. Pett - No way he goes NBA. Does he leave for "greener pastures" (aka, more money)?
2. Walker - Can he stay and develop?
3. Bashir - Don't know what to think of him, it seemed when we saw him the game was way to fast and physical for him.
4. Opurum - Have we ever heard what happened? I do think he could be a off the bench role player.
5. Magwood - I would be surprised to see him return.

quote:Are you thinking nobody is returning? Or everybody will be cut loose to "start over"? I'm of the hope there are 3-4 guys that return.
as we will need to rebuild next season, too
Odd rotations with Murphy and Hall on the bench a good bit there, hopefully getting them back on the floor will help some.

If that was a live crowd shot, don’t think the noise will be a factor.
