Everyone who has followed basketball for years KNEW we were going to have to have a big impact by Westry and Trahore.
Neither have worked out (yet).
Broome has exceeded expectations.
Wendell, Jaylin, and Chris Moore have been good in spurts.
Everyone else needed to have their minutes limited by a strong emergence of Westry and Trahore.
It did not work out so we are a bubble team.

Good post. I still have high hopes for Westry. Not as sure about Traore. But the ceiling of this season was always about those two. Similarly ranked recruits propelled us to much greater heights last year

Watching Donaldson’s high school tape had me wondering why BP was so high on him.
Westry was set back by his injury and idk what is up with Traore.
Just wish there was a way to move on from Moore and KD as well.

To think that people are complaining about an Auburn team with a chance to make the tournament... not long ago I would have been pleasantly surprised just thinking we had a chance!

So Bruce basically gets cart blanch because of how bad we were before him? That does seem to be the sentiment here. He gets a free pass on everything.
He is doing a extremely good job with the program and no one can deny that. He has basically saved the basketball program. But, if he fricks things up, then he should be called on it like everyone else.

We're in a "down" year for what we've been the last 6 or so years and we're still a tournament team as of now. I think some of y'all need to calm down.

Exactly. We can start calling Bruce out on his failures when there are obvious failures to speak of. We've all acknowledged this current roster isn't great.. doesn't mean the program is in a "downward spiral"

Anyone calling out or complaining about Bruce are either an Alter or they don’t like his political views.
