I've heard Thompson had a long way to go in terms of route running, which is why i wished he could've graduated early.

True Thompson may be the most raw of the 4 but he has all the ingredients to become a star. Even tho he is very highly rated it will probably be around mid season before he see many snaps. Expect his time to shine to be in the ‘25 season.

Simmons and Thompson will both have a long long way to go once they get on campus. I wouldn’t expect them to slow down for the new comers either. We need to be clicking early in the season to get some momentum going

We hired Kenyatta Watson for an off field role. He was at Ga Tech. Some people might not recognize the name or realize how big of a hire that is, but he's as plugged in as it gets around ATL. He was involved with Grayson HS when we got Pappoe from there.

The Georgia Tech nerds are acting like it's not a big loss. If he had any success recruiting there he will flourish here. Amazing how bad someone was at their job as soon as they take a new one somewhere else. I take comfort in knowing our fanbase never acts like that

Yep, we are pure as the driven snow, particularly when a kid picks another school, and certainly when a board member makes a call on a kid and they change their mind, pure as the driven snow we are...

Hope not but I wonder if Cochran demons haven’t come back. Otherwise he wouldn’t left without a landing spot

The guy has won championships every place he has coached. If he'd accept a job as an assistant S&C position I'd take him

Did Cochran take a job somewhere? My post was I hope he does not have personal issues related to his past. Addiction can be horrible

I don’t think he is the strength and conditioning coach at UGa is what I was saying. I think he’s the special teams coordinator an on field role.

No clue about his addiction issues.

Looks like we also added Maurice Harris to an off-field role (sorry if already discussed). He was the OC at Jackson state, coached under Hugh basically everywhere he has been. Was TE's and recruiting coordinator while at Ole Miss.

I was suggesting he take a step back to the S&C if he got canned as an on field coach.

These last 2 off field hires seem like strong ones to me.

Freeze seems to have really upgraded on the field and off the field staff. I expect the new GM that came from LSU to build one hell of a staff around him to just scout high school and potential transfers. It’s will be a ton of work but I suspect you would get a top 10 at each position from high school and the. The on field coaches work from that. From the portal you would have probably a group of P5 players listed that if they enter the portal we would reach out probably the same from the G5. So tons of work from that department behind the scenes. I think we have around 25 people working behind the scenes I expect that to almost double over the next year or so

Kenyatta Watson is a really big pick up. He has many connections. He was the one that was going to work with Coach Propst setting up the school similar to IMG that fell apart

HUGE pickup. Automatically puts us in the door with a ton of Atlanta kids.

Maurice Harris' name was a name I'd heard for OC in the late season. He knows what he is doing. Great Addition.

Will Redmond may be the best and most important hire Auburn has made in a long time.

Hugh's offseason gets an A+ from me.

Trovon was behind a lot of the interpersonal relationship stuff with recruiting you rarely hear about, so I hated to lose him. After our recent staff upgrades and off the field hires I still feel like we've improved in that area OVERALL. Hugh Freeze is assembling a staff of monsters
