OL bet we would make room if Babalola, Shull, Goodman, and Ward all wanted in.
I know they say its between Stanford and Auburn for Babalola, and we have lost a couple in years past to them given the academic aspect. But those guys were not the level of Babalola. He will be in the pros one day.
Now if that is your career path, ask yourself, Auburn and the SEC or Stanford, thats a lot different perspective.
Wow what a difference in OL recruiting we have now.

that’s 3 cross continent roundtrip flights plus another 4000 mile roundtrip to South Bend, all within a 7 week period
and it will be like that every year now that they’re in the ACC
tell him he should definitely pick Stanford if he likes long boring plane rides

Would not be surprised to see the OL class finish out with Shull, Ward, and Babalola in that order.
Also would not be surprised to see Carde Smith or Dowland look elsewhere. Dice, Buster, Shull, Ward, Babalola, and Smith/Dowland would be an unreal class.

Edges, we have a good chance at all three of those fellas, after last years haul, boy oh boy thats what stacking years will look like.
I still think Faulk ends up at Edge, he is on the same physical trajectory as his brother who grew a couple of inches and put on almost 40 pounds the year leading up to signing, so way he is a linebacker. Which begs the question, how many or who of the aforementioned we go after.
DL interior, I think Kalen ends up in this class, he just got a little excited and committed before he got to look around.
Antonio, heck he could be a silent...to us, bama, and who knows who else. lol Pink and the fellas are hearing good things about the JC fella.
Both lines are really shaping up nice.

We will continue to go after Coleman but I could see us shooting for the moon as well for some of the very very top guys. Team an absolute stud with Autry and watch out.
If Kalen does jump back in the class you have your 2 future 1/0 tech guys with he and Crawford. Just fricking anchors however Crawford has some good explosiveness to him.
I don’t think Faulk has to play the Buck. He may end up there but Will couldn’t be a bad spot either especially rolling down in an odd front.

Of those 6 3 star players the staff is really high on 4 of them. A few of the 6 are already committed I guess I should have listed who is committed and where but I’m to lazy

Really is it? If he is a NFL caliber Oline guy, his path from Stanford is just as good as from Auburn. Plenty of Stanford guys have gone to the NFL.
Its not like we are some kind of NLF factory. Especially from the oline lately.

Stanford is a team without a home now though. The Harbaw days are long gone. The school and their fans give zero Fs about athletics.

Maybe but let's not act like we are some kind of juggernaut over them when it comes to putting players in the nfl. Auburn has put 300 and Stanford has but 281 historically
We may be in a slightly better position now but we are not that far ahead of them
Good offensive linemen go. Regardless of where they play. Plus the academics are not eve close. And they have that tree thing. Whatever the frick that is

Let’s not forget the most important aspect: California will tax the hell out of their NIL money…

On Babalola, he spent a lot of time with Favour on his official, both Nigerian.
His brother is also at Tuskegee now.
I would think there is some familiarity.
Then there is the Stanford OV, a Nigerian, on a liberal campus, with all the wonders of "diverse" individuals, the most common phrase uttered "But what is this?, But what is this?, But by the heavens above WHAT IS THIS?"
On a side note, we have many Nigerians here, and they all seem to work in securtiy.....with good reason. I said to one I know that he missed his calling, he should work for a bottled water company in Nigeria exporting that stuff cause every Nigerian I meet is built like Arnold and has a perfect set of teeth, must be the water.

Good point Jville.
I also saw an interview with a recruit, where he spoke about NIL. He said during the OV, Auburn had a presentation to speak to him and his parents about NIL, how it worked, the payments, and how to structure investments for tax purposes, etc. Withholding for taxes quarterly to avoid issues. As well as a good talk about being conservative cause you could be one injury away from never making it to the league.
Boy we have come a long way from keeping it down home Cuz.

I do wonder if making some money from NIL might help these guys end up being better with money once they hit the NFL... If you're used to being able to spend some money maybe you don't blow through a $5mm check as quickly because you learn how quickly it can go.
