Not that it isn't worrisome, but are their schools doing their ceremony or whatever then for everyone as well? I'd be more worried if they weren't signing at all, but bumping to friday could just be them having the ceremony on a friday instead.

As far as depth in the RB room, does Durrell Robinson get a RS or a medical redshirt- IF he and our coaches want him?

I heard somewhere that he has never RS before so he should at least get to use this year as his RS year.

If we salvage a top 25 class this year and hit the portal smartly I am more than happy

Those two are already counted in our score since they’re committed

Not getting a single one of our top DE targets today makes me understand why Roc was on the chopping block.

Need 2 in the portal or one on NSD and 1 in the portal regardless of Durrell Robinson

I think Wilkes ends up at edge the same as JJ Faulk. I read where he is heavier than his listed weight already and six foot four.

But you are absolutely correct. We whiffed on edges and ends and we had a lot of them in our sights early on.

Two years ago we signed two highly ranked edges who have done nothing for two years other than cash checks, I wouldnt be surprised if they enter the portal when they find out the checks are stopped. And there are others in that category.

At most I'd give those guys the spring. I will say that Waller was injured his entire first year at Auburn. Joe Phillips just hasn't made an impact.

I remember so many Auburn fans giving the evaluation guy at On3 endless shite because he didn't have Waller as a 5-star even though his logic was very reasonable (Waller is short and not long; and there are few elite Edge players with those traits).

Golesh's recruiting strategy apparently goes heavy on physical traits.

As it should obviously it’s not a mutually exclusive thing, but the things you can’t coach should absolutely be a priority. Was Saban’s philosophy as well. Can always teach a guy a technique improvement. Can’t coach a 5’10 DB to be 6’1.

Don’t remember the exact details on Waller, but if I recall, On3 had him as a 3* at one point while all of the other services had him top 10 at his position.

So yeah they got roasted here and over there

Auburn doesn’t have financial agreement paperwork for Branch or Wilson yet. JLee said someone he spoke to at Auburn didn’t give a reason as to why but said they’re not concerned about it.

As for Matthews, I think the Friday signing was just for extra time to think/gather info after all the coaching changes. I think Auburn, LSU, and OM all were finalists for him so it makes some sense that he may want some extra time

As always, you never know

Right, and the kid hasn't even been able to get on the field, so clearly the On3 evaluation is proving to be more accurate than anyone who had him as an elite player. Like I said, his reasoning was completely valid. Waller is listed at 6'0 which means that he is probably like 5'11. You have to be a complete freak athlete to stand out as an Edge rusher at those measurables at this level of football.
