Jang, I know we were the reason for Bo leaving and we hate that, but you have been going off about how he didn't have anything around him and the team sucked and it wasn't Bo's fault.

This is ridiculous. Every fanbase has Negative Nancy's and if a coach wants to find 'em to negative recruit, it would take about 15 seconds. If this former AU coach wasn't doing it himself, that is on him.
Players and parents need to get with the program. Don't go searching on social media for you or your kids' name. That is basic knowledge as a P5 athlete or prospect.

It’s one thing to comment on poor performance and game situations but the ugly tweets about our new qb commitment are in very poor taste. He is now our guy and some are totally insulting him. Not good. Criticize play but not the player

This is so fricking laughable if it’s real. If this is real, and that coach can’t counter that with other comments from random a-hole fan of fricksville University, then I’m pretty stoked he’s gone.

I love Auburn and I always have and always will, but we have a huge group of douche bag fans that do stupid shite like that. Bigger than most schools I think.

I could make a full time job out of finding negative fan tweets to players of every single program if Auburn wanted to hire me for recruiting purposes

Does it really matter who it is? It's more telling that it comes from PM, who thinks on many levels that Auburn fans go overboard in their zeal to win, or complain.
As someone above posted Auburn doesn't have the market on jerk social media posters. Maybe there are teams who are winning at such a high level, their fans have less to complain about. Take GA. I guarantee you there are sick GA fans who are beating on Social media about their QB, their coach, their defense, and all the things they are stinking at when it comes to beating Alabama.
I do wish players who struggle with the fanbase at Au who froth at the mouth to complain about a player, or if it gets polarizing enough just shut your account down.
Bo's situation was unique bc of 2 things. One he is a QB and 2 he has a legacy to deal with. Once we had the losses and the goals to winning championships disappeared and Bo had his struggles on the field, it came on like a fury with those fans who couldn't handle it.
I also put some of this at the foot of GUs, because I do remember him saying when he signed Bo, he was going to bring us a championship.
That was a tough prediction and pressure to put on a young player.

I would counter that with the numerous players that say time and again how the fans at Jordan Hare have helped them win games. It's bullshite. If you don't want to play for a passionate fanbase, go to Vandy or something.
