Or it could be other schools alters pretending to be Auburn fans working with opposing coaches.

There’s no doubt our fan base is negative about everything

Sounds like hyperbole and mostly bullshite. I’m guessing that’s a Gus Malzahn quote.

Auburn fans aren’t unique in this regard. Every passionate fan base has idiots on Twitter.

Yes, Auburn is the only team with toxic fans on the internet.

They see things regardless. I once said KD should get the keys to the city without @ him and he liked it less than 2 hours after the game.

Either made up or severe hyperbole from a salty coach. Auburn fans on twitter are not any worse than others, at least not to the players.

I mean, we have some that post here but every single sporting team has psychotic fans following them. It sure as hell isn't unique to Auburn.

Bama fans have sent death threats to a placekicker. I've never heard of Auburn fans doing that.

Daniel Figureli created fake Texas twitter accounts to tweet racist shite to Texas recruits.

Agree, sounds like BS.

Can’t ever recall an Auburn player claiming he received death threats, etc….but you can google and find story after story from college players about receiving death threats, hate, etc through their social media accounts after a bad loss, etc.

This is from 2012 talking about the same thing but its OSU. LINK

This. I know we have negative fans. But, it is everywhere. Bama fans call for Saban to be fired when they lose one stinking game. Saban! They call for Saban to be fired. Good lord.

Notice it says a former coach at another program. This is bitch arse Gus or one of his minions.

I'm going full on sunshine and rainbows from now on. We'll see if it helps.

ETA: I also noticed it was an article from Phillip Marshall. Good grief. That guy is a cancer around our program and always has been. I don't know how anyone can listen to that idiot. (OK, had to get that out, sunshine rainbows starts now)

Bryce Brown and our basketball team pouted about the fans their whole sophomore season.

Was he mad about us being negative or just a lack of interest in basketball? That was before we were good at basketball so it could be that
