That was very good to hear. The offense coaches with this mindset are the ones that have the most success. The guys that are married to their systems have a little short run of success then it is figured out and they become has beens. Maybe still have a little success, but really not the true innovators in the game.

Just looking at everywhere he has been, it has a pretty wide breath of systems that he has used, starting with Ohio State as a player/GA in the mid 2000's. Everywhere he has been as an OC or HC, they've been right at a 50/50 run/pass team. So, lots of balance too.

Is anyone surprised Lane Kiffin is late to his own press conference?

I am so far gone that I’ve convinced myself the only negative on Golesh is that we will be fending off NFL teams for his services by year 3

Prioritizing the most important position on the field?! Did he also talk about prioritizing signing top Olinemen? If so…

Yeah, we had Bo Nix who's lighting up the NFL, but Auburn didn't have a good line so he spent most of his time scrambling for his life. Gus and co. got lazy on the O-line.

Hope we can keep Durkin for that one-two punch. He was way up among elite D's in defensive stats this year.

I'm curious as to what he will do with the offensive staff. It's pretty clear that Freeze was the dead hand that kept the offense in neutral, but I suspect that we are going to see a lot of new faces soon.

Good! If what’s been said about him over the last 24 hours is true, then he contributed to the problems here.

And the fall to BC seems to confirm that imo

Idk what’s been said, but if Boston College is the best he could do, he ain’t that great.

Interesting that he said this before we hired him...

My uncle who went to Tennessee called earlier and said we got a good one. Said he was Heupel’s special sauce the first two years. Said we would really like this coach.

Kodi Burns: Co-offensive coordinator, wide receivers coach, associate head coach

Joel Gordon: Offensive coordinator, quarterbacks coach

Tyler Hudanick: Offensive line coach

DeMarcus Van Dyke: Cornerbacks coach

George Courides: Strength and conditioning coach

Sounds good need defense

Best part of all of this is that if Golesh busts, we'll likely get Kodi Burns as interim at some point.

Kenyatta ain’t pulling GA kids to Boston College, which was one of the main reasons we hired him, to help in GA. Which he really didn’t do.

Kodi Burns could be HC material at Auburn one day. If anything he is stunting growth by following Golesh here instead of working under different leadership and picking up on new concepts. But we definitely want him here
