Hate to hear that. I’ll never not have a dog. Mine just turned 7 and I’m already thinking about the next one. She hopefully has a lot of years left but I’ll have a pup in a few years. Only way to ease the pain is to have another one. The one she came behind lived to 16 and was the best dog a person could ever desire. We only live so long might as well have a good dog while we’re here.

I love my JL. Its currently on my 308 looking for deer. It spends most of its time on my 300 black out Cva pistol. It is stupid quiet with subs. My 7 year old loves shooting it. You definitely need a rimfire as well. My rugged oculus is nice. It sounds as quiet as my buddy’s mask. Jump in. Suppressors make shooting fun again. I have shot more this past year than I have in the last ten years

Using a call?

I miss it too. I used to love going to movies as a kid. It was awesome. Now it’s a chore. It’s not so much the expense, it’s other people. Society has gone to shite and I don’t want to be amongst them. Same reason I don’t do many sporting events anymore. The juice isn’t worth the squeeze.

My bolt 308 with supers sounds about like a 22 to me as a shooter. I feel it is hearing safe. I make my kids wear muffs when we shoot it. My 300aac with subs sounds like a whatever it hits. They shoot it without muffs. 22 with standard velocity also sounds like whatever it bangs into. Suppressors are awesome and make whatever you shoot more fun. I will have more when this craziness dies down.
Probably been said but bolts or single shots are as quiet as you can get.

Ha. They finally changed my area of Florida to does whenever. It used to be only 2 weekends a year. So damn stupid and so many “legal” bucks got killed because Joe Blow had to work that weekend, or it rained, or it was 100 degrees and does were nocturnal.
