I didn’t hear it on TV but apparently the Mizzou fans were chanting for Wendell to be “shot like a horse” when he was down injured.

Seems pretty racist for them to claim to be so woke.

Awful night of shooting but those are gonna happen. The come down from Kentucky and becoming #1 I had a feeling it was gonna be a battle tonight. Didn’t think it was gonna be that bad but glad we left with the W. Come home and handle Oklahoma by 15 and we may hold the #1 spot. Tonight is gonna give a lot of the voters reason to put Gonzaga back at 1 though.

Eta: not that it matters at all. We’re gonna lose a game in the sec. But glad it wasn’t tonight

Tough game from Auburn and you could tell they didn’t bring it like they have recently. Being booed off the court with “overrated” chants should light a fire under them for future games.

Good to get the win at least. Dropping that game could’ve thrown the regular season SEC Championship up in the air.

As long as we beat OU we will hold our spot at #1. The AP voters aren’t going to penalize us for winning a tough midweek road game by less than we should have.

Teams at #1 get tested like we did last night all the time. All that matters is the win.

To have Jabari Flan and Wendell not shoot or play well on offense shows we can survive on the road against teams like Mizz.

We won bc of KD and Devan.

That’s the Devan we need. Use that athleticism to wreak havoc and he becomes a championship piece on this team.
Did anyone play well on offense besides KD?

No. Maybe Kessler sort of. Wendell and Zep had 4 assists. Very good to have an extra day this week.

Long trip after a huge win. We looked tired (Missed shots, etc.). Games like that happen. I think we rebound well these next two games (Oklahoma and Bama). Bama is a huge game for us.

Need to blow bama out... make a statement as to who is the alpha program in this state and place Oates in his place... 3rd tier...

Yep. That being said, wouldn’t mind seeing Bama routing Baylor Saturday. I think they have a decent chance at home. Think they matchup well.

Yea, I still want to see this team lay the hammer on a good/decent opponent for 40 min. We haven't really done that in conference play yet. Bama at home would be the perfect time, keep them reeling.

One flaw in this team is that we seem really content once we push a lead to 18-20 vs good teams. Those leads can evaporate quickly. Next step is to start pushing those leads to 25+

Are they still going to camp for a non-sellout game?

What did GenesChin say that was offensive? Their arena is old and their program hasn’t had much success of late.

I’ve never been there. Maybe it’s a shite hole maybe it isn’t, but bringing it up, with those words, while they are playing us tough and are ahead just looks kind of petty to me. Win with class lose with class I say. Maybe not so much with bama or uga, but good for Missouri coming out and giving eveything they had
