W - Baylor - A good win to start the season. Defense shines. Offense Impresses

W - Southern Miss - We completly destroy them and lead the SEC in total offense. Good feels all around

Toss up - Florida - Close game that we win with a last minute FG from McPhearson.

W - Vandy - frick them nerds. Auburn flexes on those Dores. Cobb runs for 200

Toss Up - Tennessee - Heupel vs Golesh . Coach vs OC. This is going to be an scary game.

W - UGA - Upset ALERT!!!!! Auburn with a biweek; uga coming off their bama game, Auburn catches the bulldogs in recovery mode and FINALLY wins in Sanford

Toss up - LSU - Tiger Voodoo is a certainty. The question is, will the replay booth steal another victory from us?!?!?

W - Ole Miss - Brown enters the Heisman race

W - Arkansas - Good ole fashion pig roast! Golesh continues the tradition of putting up 50+

W - Miss State - TRAP GAME!!! After a sluggish start, Auburn rolls back to victory in the second half

W - Samford - Everybody gets to play

Toss up - Bama - Showdown for the playoffs!!! Golesh has the team ready 24-14 Auburn

In the end, 16-0 ship is the only answer!!!

Who are 10 Auburn football players to watch or look forward to watching?

Brown, Atkins, and Cobb excluded.
Also Champ Anthony.

So I need to learn about 6 more.
Thanks in advance.

Who is out 1000 yard WR?

Who will be our sack leader?

Singleton (WR)
Jeremiah Cobb
Bryson Washington (RB)
Champ Anthony
Byron Brown
Xavier Atkins

These are the "impact players" on the EA sports game

The starting receivers are Singleton, Nimrod, Cain, and some TE that starts with an E. Elrod or something.

Odds are we won’t have one. We haven’t had one since Ronney Daniels, I believe.

It could be a number of people but I expect Jared Smith and Darrion Smith to lead the way.

Basically, I think the players to watch on offense is:

1. Byrum Brown-QB
Our season goes as he goes. One of 12 QBs in history to throw for 3k and run for 1k. We’ll need him to do similar to be competitive.
2. Jeremiah Cobb-RB
We plan on running the piss out of the ball and Cobb will be the main benefactor with teams having to account for Brown’s rushing ability.
3. Chaz Nimrod-WR
The most underrated WR in the group and shown flashes but because of injuries and other things, have never been able to put it all together. If we are going to be good, Nimrod will have a breakout season.
4/5. Keshaun Singleton and Jeremiah Koger- WR
These guys can win down the field and in the red zone. Both have a chip on their shoulder because they’ve heard all off season long how they might not be good enough to produce in the SEC. Both have a lot to prove.
6. Bryson Washington- RB
A bigger back than Cobb, so we’ll likely need him to get the tough, short yardage yards. A very productive RB throughout his career at Baylor
7/8. Bryce Cain and Deshawn Spencer-WR
Both slot guys. Cain being the last WR from the Freeze 4 and vet, with Spencer being a FR but showing signs of playing early
9-12. Jake Johnson, Jonathon Echols and Boardingham at TE. There will be a rotation of TEs, split out wide, slot, inline and in the backfield as a FB.

Which is insane by the way. Without looking I’m guessing we are the only SEC team that’s true of, and I bet most of them have had 3+ in that time span. Darvin had 997 in 2009 and 963 in 2010

The last several years has taught me to not get my hopes up, now I make no predictions until I see the product on the field.

McPherson is our kicker.

I guess I could name 8 maybe.

I miss the old days where I studied the roster, learned about the players, followed them for 4 years.

NIL and the portal sort of took away the memorize the roster part of college football.

Reminds of when baseball changed everything.

I knew every play on the Cincinnati Reds

Perez, Morgan, Conception, Rose, Bench, Foster, Geronimo, Griffey.

Sports were different back then.
