Putting up points covers up a lot of ills 
. I really hope the offense is what I think it will be this season. I have missed having one I actually felt confident when we had the ball.

Little Italy always holds a special place in my heart.
I had a job one day in Union Springs about a decade back. I expected it to take 4 hours. It took 12. I was expected to be in Dadeville the following day so I had planned to overnight in Auburn and climb back up 280 the next day.
So after the scariest drive of my life along highway 29, deer season, dead deer every quarter of a mile and live ones flitting about the wood right at the edge of view. Speed limit was 55 I refused to go above 40.
So I roll into Auburn at 1am, pissed off and tired and in desperate need of a beer and grease infusion. Little Italy was open and that was the coldest beer and best Stromboli of my life lol.

Just to make things interesting here on the board & get the juices flowing to get primed for the season, I’m gonna propose the terms for the 1st “Ban-Bet” of the ‘26 Auburn Football campaign.
If?…and it’s a BIG damn “IF”…we somehow go 5 - 0 going into the UGA game?
I’ll wager a “Ban-Bet” that we’ll go on to beat the dawgs in Athens on the road to go to 6 - 0.
Basic terms of the deal:
- We’re 5 -0 going into Sanford Stadium
- We’re 6 - 0 leaving Sanford Stadium
- If We’re 5-1 at the close of business on 10/17?…I’ll take a full ban all the way through the duration of the season
$h!t…I’d still be right as rain if we went to UGA 0-5 as long as we’d leave 1-5 as it is
