Well, in case you didn’t notice, we just became one of the best classes in the SEC and far from done. No one will catch Texas A&M but we will be on par with everyone else

Can I be exited yet?
that's the second recruit in a week we just kick Kirby's arse for. This one is another top 100 player

And 2 positions that Georgia puts a ton of players in the league, both on defense. This staff is not messing around

I haven’t kept up with a ton of recruiting but seems like a solid class. Not an elite class but a very good core and bodies on the OL

If our coaches have a clue then we can win with very good classes. I believe Golesh is the most cut throat coach we have seen since Dye and it’s about freaking time!

247 has us at #15 meanwhile Bama way down at #50 and UGA somewhere around 30. What is going on? (not complaining!)

Let the man win a game, and have another recruiting class before comparing him to the guy the field is named after

Oh I will. This is just my early prediction.

He is going to, at least, get a concourse named after him after this class, is my prediction.

Where did they compare him to Dye?
To me, they compared him to Terry Bowden, Tommy Tuberville, Gene Chizik, Gus Malzahn, potato boy, and Hugh Freeze.

Okay so how does the dust settle...
Jackson and Pace at Edge
Marquis Evans at Strongside DE
Karlos Mays at Nat Kamba DL
Tae Walden Jr at DB
One more DB/Safety several still on the board
Cedrick Simmons at slot receiver
Preston Williams as a project DB
Nico Kampas unless Michigan out bids us which is likely
And then, as Jang said, we wait for the next round of bidding in the fall

Sounds like Georgia put on a really good showing for Karlos Mays on his OV, so we definitely have a fight there. I think he will be on his OV this weekend or next.
Deshawn Hall got a couple CB's to Penn State after his OV, but I think things are a long way to go for him. He seems to be one to have the post visit highs from what we've seen so far.

Couple of comments....
Cedrick Simmons is something else, I know its 2A ball, but the guy is amazing in yards after catch, his highlight reels, fellas are literally falling down when he makes cuts. His QB leaves a lot to be desired but this kid catches everything 2,192 yards last season. JLee said the coaches love this guy, is this year's version of DeShawn Spencer.
Preston Williams. Once again 2A but this kid's highlight reel he plays everything. Safety, Edge, QB, RB, WR. He is a project, but they are bringing him in on an official so who knows.

Up until yesterday Bama was last place in the SEC, they bumped up to 14/16 then.

Maybe TWJ can be what we thought Trovon Reed would be. Similar skills. Hope we pick the right position for him if we get him.

GoCrazy,
I dont know anything "inside" obviously but JLee and Alan Head seemed to think the coachs had cooled on DeShawn Hall. Said he definitely has the size but just not enough speed for what they want.
If they take Cedrick thats two. Maybe they think Walden and maybe even Gilbert can help playing both ways. I didnt realize Gilbert runs a 10.57 100 that is very very fast.

That's very possible. I mostly am just going off of what I seen consensus wise on twitter and such. We also have a fairly young WR room overall, so they may go a smaller HS class and opt for a bigger transfer at the position or something too.
