There are many families in the 3 million and 1 million TUF fund, many of whom you probably never heard of. While this is not used "directly" for NIL......all money is fungible.
When I was at Auburn I went to the alumni "office" where donations were organized, this was when Dye had been hired a looong time ago. Im certain they would NEVER let some student have that kind of access now. There was one nerdy, nice fella who was all to happy to have someone interested in what he did.
I didnt see the actual amounts but they had this grading system on who donated. I came across this 5 star guy on the list and asked who he was. The guy said "oh yeah, he's a big one, check out his mailing address". His address was literally Wall Street itself.
Funding was up across the school, the individual schools and of course the athletic foundation. He said it was the Dye affect. When the program starts to do well, people are more willing to open their pockets.
I think we are all desperately hoping Golesh will breathe some fresh air into our poor corpse of a program, this past decade.

Looks like we may have gotten a commitment from somebody on the DL.

Good get, now get Karlos May and we are done.

Are we not going hard? Seems like we doing well better than expected in recruiting so far.

Golesh is doing everything right on Jimmie’s and Joe’s. Now we await the Xs and Os.

Speaking of bullying Kirby, how did the Karlos May visit go? Any insider information? Also Bama lost the linebacker they CLAIMED they wanted more than Isaac McNeil
they were rated in the 60s in recruiting last time I checked. I expect them to finish top 15 still...... but I want y'all to imagine if ANYONE would be giving us this patience and grace media wise. Kalen seems lost

Bama dude is crying at work. Supposedly they really wanted the Tennessee legacy linebacker and then he flipped to Tennessee.
Now according to him they have to offer more money and beg some Auburn commit to come into the fold.
Desperation creeping in

DeBoner never even had a top 30 class before coming to uat. He’s not a good recruiter. Uat just unloaded the checkbook his first 2 years. I imagine the donors are getting a little more stingy after him getting embarrassed 2 years in a row.

I feel like we are always at this point, please god lets just finally put together the product on the field to keep our momentum going.
Really like the class composition so far. I do feel there is more intent with the guys we have so far, a lot less guys where i'm sitting here thinking I don't know how we are going to use him, but he is talented
.
To whoever posted Crumb above, I have seen some CB's for us last week or the one before with him. So he may be next. Though don't know if he is top on the board or what not.

Feels like Crumb is a take and will choose us Wednesday. Pace lll is also expected to pick us, who announces Friday I think.
These would be the last two of the seven eagles, Golesh posted during the official visit weekend before last

Absolutely not. There would be multiple, blood in the water, type articles questioning Golesh's ability to recruit in the SEC. The threads on the tRant would be legion.

Makes me wonder if AU is being smart in this and putting some punitive velcro hooks into these NIL deals to claw some money back and discourage last minute flips. If not, I can only get so excited about these “commitments” and will cross my fingers until Dec1.

Have not even looked at the recruiting in a long time. Not since Golesh got here. What damn bank did Texas AM rob?
Looking at the player rankings, they could get 20 of the top 50
Is this why Im paying $4 a gallon for unleaded?

I think we’ll make a strong case with Cedric Simmons, out of Southside(Selma), to be our slot WR this class.
We could finish with..
Crumb
Pace
Simmons
May
Adams
Which would be 23 commits but could there be a surprise or two?
