MSU QB Will Rogers seems to be implying that he's staying at MSU.

With that news out now, he was the one QB that I was hearing people mention as a possibility. We reached out to his people and he's been considering leaving MSU.

If they are only money hunting then let them go. They don't care about anything else and most are drama queens that will leave in a year for more money.

I knew my over reaction about not getting McCall or Leary wasn't an over reaction .

I still think we bring in a QB to compete, but I don't think it will be anyone overly impressive or proven. I'm holding out that Holden takes a step forward in this offense and saves me from having to watch Robby all year.

Why not hold out hope that the one with the higher ceiling improves?

Freeze did a great job with Malik, don’t count out Ashford yet. With Ashford’s running ability all he needs is to hone his passing skills and he’s deadly in a Freeze offense.

That's my hope at this point and just wait to see if we get anyone else. That way I'm not disappointed if we don't get another. If he can't pass then work on holding onto the ball and short passes all off-season. We can run a 10 yard offensive.

All I needed was 5 other numbers to win the Powerball last night.

Holden doesn’t have championship potential. Ashford does. So no, you’re hoping the guy that has an 8 win ceiling beats out the guy that could potentially win a championship.

I guess Robby has just been holding back on his potential for the past 3+ years.

If Ashford is our starting QB next year, this recruiting cycle is a failure. I dont care how many linemen he brought in.

Ashford is a 6-7 win player with our schedule.

This is going to be a issue moving forward with the new rules. No decent QB is going to sit the bench on most teams. You will be looking for a good Qb every year or two. Coaches must have a "Quarterback plan" every recruiting cycle. It is going to be one of the most important things. The new system will demand it.

And he was scared to death and doesn’t have a strong arm.
