Yea, it would be nice to sign some of these guys and not just be hopeful about them. Like to see some of them on the board

Cam was in school 4 years but came back in 2015 to finish his degree, right? Couldn't McCall or Leary do the same? Obviously academics aren't that important to them.

Hank Brown transferred to Dilfer's high school because his dad relocated with his job to Nashville. He was second string last year to a QB that signed with Cincinnati.
So he has only started one season as Jonesy said.
There was a nice right up of Dilfer talking about how during his junior season the starting QB and their star RB were sick, he stepped in without a practice with the starters and slung it for 370yds.
Check his highlights, one play in the shotgun center launches it over his head, as he is turning to run for the ball he checks to see who is gonna hit him first, picks up the ball on the run scampers right away from the first rusher and slings it downfield for a 40 yard pass. Boy is cool as a cucumber.

Off subject but I wonder what Freeze's cutoff on the number of OL is and how he plans to split them up (HS kids vs portal). I know we need alot but we need other positions (like QB and DL) and if we fill up now with all these flips it may hurt us come February. I don't know if he plans on pulling back offers or what if too many lower players jump on board.

With Leary potentially out of the mix and McCall definitely out who are our next QB targets? The Hank Brown offer makes me think we have no other portal targets. I only say that because why would Freeze just now offer Brown? He could’ve done it day one.

Rabern from my understanding we want 2 high school OT, 2 juco OT, and 2 transfer OT, We want 1 transfer center and 1 transfer combo guard/OT. So 2 high school OT and 2-3 inside lineman

Brown is unrelated to the portal. He’s a high school senior. I guarantee it wasn’t 1. McCall 2. Leary 3. True freshman

We can take a lot more than 25. I think someone said the number is closer to 40.

His recruitment is picking up. We are just trying to be early. Has no effect on us wanting a transfer QB.
