He is either a complete imbecile…, or he took the job just to f it up as quickly as possible for the buyout. Before you downvote me think about it! Can you actually screw it up that fast with any other reason? The guy couldn’t get Auburn legacies that committed a couple of weeks after Freeze was hired.

Mac Jones dad slipped my son 3 bills on a cruise ??. My son was between stations in the military and was on a cruise with his spouse. Mac and his family went on one of the side excursions with my son. Macs dad and my son had some conversation and that was his thanks for the military service. Hats off.

I don’t think McCall and Montgomery have a prior relationship. However, McCall knows what Freeze can do and if you do research on Montgomery you can find his successes with other QB’s.
Freeze is McCall’s first draw to Auburn and Montgomery’s history just made it that more intriguing. McCall fits perfectly into a Freeze scheme of offense. Quick decision maker, accurate thrower, extends plays with his feet, can also run.

He thought he could get slightly better than average talent and coach them up. Harsin had talent about 3rd on the list of importance behind X&Os and working out.

Freeze will do an in home with UCF commit Braeden Marshall on Thursday and Marshall will OV this weekend. KN says he loves where Auburn sits and has had him to Auburn for a few days. Gus visited him last week

Chizik’s 2009 class had a grand total of 2 3* OL and he had about a month longer to recruit.
John Sullen was an Auburn HIgh player he flipped from Southern Miss, and Andre Harris was a Tubs commit.
Chizik’s 2010 class was much better, but they also had a year to put that class together. I’ll hold off comparing the two until Freeze has more than 3 weeks to recruit players.
