With the way the NCAA is these days I wonder if they could apply for some kind of waiver to leave or leave and apply for a waiver to be eligible. I assume they have to be here, but who knows these days.

I agree. The kid’s home state school is usually tough to beat. So if it’s AU or UF I feel it’s a 50/50 shot. He’s playing it close to the vest and trolling the fans a bit, so who knows where his head is at?!

Some recruiting stuff, mostly 2023 OL:
4* OL Miles McVay stopped by Auburn on Sunday. 2023 OT. He made some other visits this weekend
4* OT Bo Hughley’a junior day visit went really well. He said something to the effect that Auburn is in his top 2 (he’s committed to UGA) and that he’s looking forward to returning with his teammates.
4* OL Clay Wedin said Auburn’s campus and the visit is exactly what he was looking for. Said he’ll definitely be back this spring. High marks for Friend.
Similar comments from UR OT Wilkin Formby. Sounds like Friend spent 1 on 1 time with all of the OL in town. He’ll also be back this spring for practices.
4* DBs Avery Stewart and Ethan Nation had great things to say about Etheridge. I’d expect Auburn to be in both of their top schools when they narrow things down

Just wanted to say that the man is out there recruiting. There are Twitter posts like this daily from players. I think the majority of Auburn folks who are negative don’t want to acknowledge this.

I don’t think anyone thinks he’s not physically out there recruiting. You have to land players though.
