Sorry bro, but this staff deserves props for what is happening right now in recruiting.
And we still have NSD and Portal. Harsin and crew had to earn some respect from the fan base for today's results.

Agreed. Also I think it’s fair to hold off on melting about OL until we see how the portal turns out. It would be one thing if reports were that we are focusing on HS guys but the narrative for a while has been that they will go to the portal for OL.

Wouldn’t put it in the same category as West. They definitely weren’t after him as hard as normal but he also wasn’t processed. If they didn’t want him they wouldn’t have let him stay on as a commit for so long when reports were that he was favoring Auburn.

Bama's 247 site said Bama was working hard the last few weeks to keep Woodyard in the class
. Its just the opposite from what I've heard and read. I think they would have taken him, but they weren't sweating it either.

Yeah things were looking pretty bleak not all that long ago. Some were saying that we'd have to get very lucky to finish in the top 25. And now a top 15 class looks to be locked up.
They definitely have closed strong the past month with room to get even better depending on what happens with some guys still left.

Bama doesn’t do this though. If they know you’re gone and don’t actually want you then they process you.
It’s not farfetched to believe that bama actually wanted him but at the same time wasn’t desperate for him.

I get that, but post after post after post about everyone's doubts that Harsin knows how to recruit in the SEC.
I get there are holes and gaps, but with more time as HC and his staff they will improve upon what is happening today. That is what the point of my post is for.
Harsin answered the doubters pretty well today, and he still has more opportunities to fill the gaps with NSD and Portal.

As it stands now we need from the portal WRs, OL (many), QB, possibly a running back if we don’t get Citizen, a LB, maybe an experienced corner

Rocky give it up everyone is giving Harsin props no one expected him to fill every hole on the roster. He’s done well but has had some help with things going on outside of Auburn. Everyone is happy today. But to close out the class we still need more pieces. It is what it is. This class is decent but nothing to fap about but if it gets you rock hard then you do you

Less than a week ago I was concerned we had no recruiters, was I wrong! Great finish by anyone's standards with where we are now
