I’d be surprised at this point if 4* WR Omari Kelly and 4* S/PG Tre Donaldson aren’t in this class next Thursday.

I am starting to wonder what’s holding up 3* OG Drew Bobo’s commitment. He said he was intending to commit before the end of July. Now, he might do it before the season.

3* LB Joshua Josephs will announce Oct 1. He’s been pretty open about his disappointment that Auburn offered him late. Like a lot of kids, the staff wanted to see them in person before handing them a commitable offer. We’ll see if the staff makes up any ground before then.

This shite has always baffled me. Like I get it if it is a staff that as recruited you for years and doesn't offer for a long time, but with a completely new staff come on dude.

Sometimes it feels like it’s only Auburn’s late offers that irks recruits. We’ve seen other schools offer kids late and it doesn’t seem to garner the same ill will.

We offered an OT/OL from Texas who is currently committed to Oklahoma State:

When is late...late? To me late is during the school year or closer to the ESD. This doesn't seem late.

I don't see how you can blame this staff in their first full recruiting process, especially w the Covid restrictions. I don't have a problem if the staff is not sure of a player they have never seen in person.

Chances Auburn told him to wait?

Agreed. I think he’s the top interior lineman on the board right now. Not to mention that he’s the coordinator’s son

Makes me wonder if he's holding out for a spot at UGA. Like they told him they had 1 or 2 people ahead of him so he's waiting to see what happens.. if not then Auburn is the fall back plan. Just a guess though.

Ok, did he just not realize Gus in the pick? Is it a troll since uga is high on his list? Is he related to big kat and maybe a troll if he is?

Gus probably called him and he thinks he's still at Auburn

I think he saw a guy with his last name on the jersey and didn’t think anything else of it he’s been to UCF so there’s no chance he doesn’t know where Gus is. I think it’s just funny.

Seriously doubt Auburn makes his top 5.

Wouldn’t hold your breath there either He goes to a catholic high school in Northern Indiana. I don’t see him going anywhere but ND

4* DB Austin Ausberry placed Auburn in his top 6 along with LSU, Bama, ND, UF, and Michigan.

His dad works in the AD’s office at LSU. I also just noticed that his brother is a ‘23 5* LB. Both go to high school on campus at LSU.

Still a tough pull but KN talked to some of the commits and they’ve been recruiting him hard. They think he’s really considering Auburn. We’ll see.
